That’s a bummer but I can see it happening. The beauty market is so oversaturated at this point. I’m so happy just to stay with my old favorites at the drugstore at this point. I am definitely going to hold onto my collection of BH pallets👍🏼

I’ve started using a light cream eyeshadow, lightly powdered, for my eye primer. I’ve found that it works very well so far! (I have mature combo to dry skin with oily eyelids-the gift that keeps on giving…lol)
The L'Oréal BB Age Perfect is one of the best at the drugstore along with infallible and true match line ! If i need something good to last all day these foundation are the best choice for me !
Do you notice a scent with the foundation? You usually comment on things if they have a smell......mine has a very distinct off-putting smell at first, then wears off in seconds. Makes me wonder if I got a bad tube.😮
I think what you are smelling is the combo of chemical sunscreen ingredients because I notice it every time. Once the product sets, the scent dissipates and I no longer am bothered by it. Hope this helps 😊
Even before you mentioned what eyeshadow you were wearing, I was admiring it (what a beautiful blend!). Still not sure how much of it is because of BH's formula (which I love!) and how much is because you're just that skilled, but either way... Sure hope we get to see BH Cosmetics circa 2021-22 again!
The Loreal Age Perfect foundation is one of my favorites. Everytime I wear it, people tell me I have great skin. I love it because it does not look like foundation!

It’s more about application technique than it is about what specific product you use anyway. The quality on cheap make up has gone up to a point that more expensive doesn’t any longer necessarily mean better.
I've been wanting to try one of those pots since I started watching YT in 2015. I'll have to get one that's a little lighter in shade, if they have one because I think that particular one will clash with my skin tone. I need something that will let me pick up the right amount with a brush. It's either that or TF shadow insurance. I know they reformulated it so it has to have a doe foot applicator. The type of primers that you have to squeeze out just waste too much product in my experience. I'm also tired of trying every drugstore eye primer that gets raved upon only to have it end up in the trash...

That Flower Get Real concealer is my HG. Shades aren’t great, but the formula is so good, pigmentation excellent, but it dries down without getting cakey creasy or dry. You can opt to not set it with loose powder which when you are older, that is exactly what you need. Less powder the better and this concealer stays put without setting with powder. Can’t say enough about it and I wasn’t a fan of the light illusion one. I have tried every concealer known to man I think and the Age Rewind and Get Real are the two I always go back to (totally different formulas, but both provide good coverage while being skin like.)
So your favorite BH eyeshadow palette is the Zodiac kit. Mine is Smitten in Switzerland. It's got the perfect balance of light, midtone and dark shades; shimmers vs. mattes; cool vs. warm tones; and some bold primary pops. Also a matte vanilla creme color for a base or under brow accent and 2 slight variations on matte peach/flesh tones for neutral transition shades. Very well thought out, and I'll cry when I finally have to toss mine. All of the shades are equally important to me, and I lightly mist the pans with rosewater and leave the palette open overnight to air dry when I feel they might be getting crumbly or too dry. I like the shimmers better than -dare I say?- Natasha Denona's storied formula. Thanks for the video Mandy!
If you can find any of the travel themed palettes like Love in London/Hainging in Hawaii /Smitten in Switzerland etc -grab those because those are excellent.
Interesting that you compare the Loreal serum foundation to Estee Lauder. The Loreal work so much better for me. I find that the Futurist sits on my skin in an odd, patchy way.
I’ve tried so many tinted serums or moisturizers and have come to the conclusion to use less foundation mixed with a little moisturizer and it looks great. Cuts down on the amount of products bought, too.

Can you please explain to us not so bright folks the difference in cool toned shadows and warm toned? I hear these terms used so often but I don't really know what colors they are referring to when they use them. I have green/hazel eyes and blonde toned hair and not sure whether I should be migrating to the purple tones or the red/brown tones. On the color wheel, it shows orange as being opposite the green. Any light you can shed on this subject will be greatly appreciated. Side note - good job on keeping the social media restrictions on the children. Nothing good comes from too much screen time - for any of us!
I think it’s the undertones of the skin? Some skin is cooler, greenish and purple (very faint though) and some is more red and yellow. Based on that you can choose different color palettes to compliment your undertones

Weird, I HATE that L’Oreal foundation, it feels like a very heavy liquid, very silicone in feeling. I am using up my tube as body makeup on my shoulders and arms on special summer occasions. Just feels so occlusive.
Can you recommend another palette comparable to the BH Egypt palette that is easier accessible? This palette is on sale on their website for $5.98 ish but the shipping is $5.99 not that that is crazy expensive overall but doubles the actual price and do not want to spend more just to get free shipping for $35.00.
I used to buy from BH Cosmetics frequently, but then, a few years ago, they posted something oddly political that hit me the wrong way and I stopped following or buying from them. They were always a little hit and miss, though, on releases. When I was buying BH, it always seemed like they'd release something, it would sell out, and it would never get restocked. Just a lot of apparently limited run products like that, which didn't make wanting to shop with them any easier.
I click on yours and Tati's videos quicker than anything else. Love both of yall's videos. They're amazing and honest reviews. L'oreal has solid products. I'm not surprised that that foundation has good reviews. I got the Physicians Formula bronzer in the tube today. Can't wait to use it. It looks like the Butter Bronzer that is in the squeezy tube placed in a different and better packaging.
Did you read the reviews or just glance at it? Most reviews are promotions as you’ll see towards the bottom where they say they were gifted the product in exchange for their review, promotional, something along those lines. You can’t even trust reviews anymore.
I don’t give two hoots about packaging if the product is great! I’m not going to pay higher prices so that they can have some fancy assed packaging trying to impress me into thinking their product is superior! I want what’s inside to be great, not outside!
I use the wet and wild incognito concealer on top off my eyes as a base then I set it with my elf clay eye shadow pallet in the lightest shade before putting my shadow on. It never creases and I could just walk out the house with just that if I wanted to and it'll look natural.
Do you have an external mic you could use? I'm hoping I'm not alone when I say the harsh, high-pitch resonate quality of the sound in your videos gives me misophonia, & I'd love to be able to watch your videos! Maybe your room is too big & echoey? Maybe a few nice area rugs or sound panels would help? Def investing in an external mic, if you haven't already. If you have done all of the above, then disregard my comment. :)
I love your eyebrows! I have been struggling so hard with the big "perfect" new style on the young ladies today. I don't look right with brows like that, nor do I have the time every day to create the look. I am a 50+ woman who loved using Elizabeth Arden makeup all of my adult life, but in the last several years I have stopped using any makeup at all because it makes me look older. I am trying to start a RUclips channel for my real estate work and want to look nice and put together, so I am exploring how to wear makeup at this age.

I've worn Estee Lauder Double Wear for decades & it too has a " scent " - not much , a bit off-setting , but it too dissipates in seconds .
This is like old school, Mandy, which is why I started watching you before because you were much more drug store oriented than most creators.

I use MAC Painterly as shadow primer. I love it and my shadows don't budge, at all.
Same here, I've been through at least 15 or 16 paint pots! I think I only go through one every 12 or 15 months, using it 5 days a week at least.

I saw that Revolution Beauty had aquired BH in 2022 . Perhaps that has something to do with the lack of new releases?
I really like the colors in that eyeshadow palette! I feel like warm browns from luxury brands can go too orange or too cool, but this looks perfect.
I still use an eye shadow primer, but I am wearing more cream eye shadow and I am not sure which primer to use.

Is that the Photofocus loose powder? That one is nice and silky

Jessica Braun I think had similar skin issue and determined it may be from an ingredient in the lawless forget the filler.
