Love the musketeer/sundowners. When I decided to learn to fly, I thought I wanted to do a lot of things (acro, build experimental, etc.) but I find landing at unique small airports to be really fun and relaxing. I also enjoy watching folks with "small" aviation youtube channels- guys with 10-1,000 subscribers make better stuff than those with half a million.
Thanks! I'm certainly not the tech savvy guy that a lot of them are but all of my content is real. Nothing is staged. I think that makes for a better presentation!
That pesky camera power switch darn’it! Good x’s. Was a great day! (Oooo but some sketchy winds!) Dave Graybill and family do a cracking job putting this flyin together!
Added a thumbs up for the shot of Seneca Rocks as you were headed down. Did some climbing there in the early 80's. WV is a Great State for the outdoors. That was a really neat airport - 3 grass strips ?
I actually departed the other way. It was the first time I had ever departed that way. It's very intimidating with those mountains staring you in the face!
This was the best time ever, I hope to bring the wife and kids next year. Thanks for making the video.
Great family atmosphere that's for sure!
This place is definitely on my bucket list. I have not flown in years. Time to get back at it.
One of the most fun places to go in the east!
Looked like you had such a great time!
Best wishes from England
Alan, I enjoy every video you make! This is another good one!
Thanks for the encouragement! I appreciate that!
First time I saw your video. Really enjoyed it.
Thanks! I enjoy making them!
Great video! Hope to fly our Aeronca L-3 to the spring fly-in.
Hope to see you there!
I always enjoy your videos, Peter. You and the Bearhawk Patrol know how to play and sure brighten our day when you stop by !
I've seen your video's also! I hope to stop into your strip someday!

Yes! There's actually 3 strips!
Nice video. I sure hope to make that fly in sometime, along with some of the southern US airstrips you’ve featured.
Let me know if you get this way! Always looking for fly-buddy's!
We moved from Carson Volley Nevada last year. I have flown into Creighton Island several times now; thanks for that inspiration!
😊😊😊😊😊
Great Video! Had to share on our website.
Anytime!
Approach looked tricky. Departure looked trickier 😅
