I am bt cotton seed f1 produce in my farm. Kya hum male-female ka selfing karke next year k liye as parent seed k liye use kar sakte hai? Agar yes, to year by year aisa karke uski physical purity kitne saalon tak suddh rakh sakte hai?
(2) agar 2 ya 3 saalon tak aisa karte hai to kya unn parent seed mai homogaygas plant ka khatra aa sakta hai?

Hii, sir.. Aapne bataaya ki self polinated croo me 5% cross polination ho sakta hai. To pls bataaye ki kis kaaran aisa hota hai
Bro koi bhi crop ka jab certified ya foundation seed production karte hai tab hum usme isolation distance rakhte hai. Like self pollinated crop rice, wheat usme bhi hum 3m ka isolation distance rakhte kyu. Kyuki usme genetic ya pir physical purity mix na ho jay matlab kabhi cross pollination na ho jay. Ye ho sakta hai me bhi conform to nahi hu.
