Not finishing script and not knowing the ending to the plot lines is two different things though.
I mean, I don't know how many stories have you written, but your mind just can't stop wandering to the possible endings. You always have good idea how it might end at most when you finish your first chapter.

If they had cut short explaining all their plans/what's going on at any given moment/reiterating everything we already know, this season would have been exactly one episode.
netflix deciding to cater to the brainrotter short attention span audience is a self-fulfilling prophecy... because they repeat the plot points over and over and over again, repeat moments, spells things out, plot and lore dump multiple times through out the series/movie... makes people yawn and check their phones
movies and tv shows are for watching and if people aren't paying attention, repeating everything all the time ain't gonna help... because, for those people who would "need" such a thing, they *aren't even fucking paying attention in the first place*
Catering to the lowest common denominator is the cool business trend nowadays. That's why you see your favorite movies, shows, and games trying to please everyone and ending up pleasing no one. It's all about the stock price and the way to get the stock price up is to cater to everyone, and that leads to safe, stale, generic content.😓

Except they clearly state that Will had to do it _before_ the final fight so that Vecna couldn't use his fear of people's reactions against him. The scene was longer than it probably should have been but there was an actual reason to have it at that point within in the story.
If it was done with just his mom and his friends earlier in the episode then it wouldn’t have been an issue. Him coming out close to the end of the episode in front of the entire cast was rediculous

The show is refrencing D&D every five minutes and then keep the final evil boss lare completely unprotected. They most likely had no idea how include the Demos and still have the kids win. I mean, they just shown demos had no trouble to demolish a whole US soldiers squadron, twice, and that guns are completely useless against them. Yet their saving party on a foreign planet is a bunch of untrained civilians, with guns. Using cheat codes was the only way they could reach the final boss alive.
