Ani is a great scent for all the reasons you describe. The sparkly orange ginger opening is hypnotic. Easily the best breakdown on that one I’ve seen.
I really enjoy your descriptions Eugen and you do make me laugh. I’m interested to try Tears of Iris, those bottles are gorge 💜
Complicated men need complicated fragrances. It's nice to know a bit about someone just by the way they smell. Alright, alright, alright maybe a few light hearted ones for campouts and picnics. :). Great work as always.
Great reviews and I love your positive messages at the beginning! I just recently sampled Ani too and am posting my video tomorrow morning with my thoughts on Ani plus a couple other fragrances. I agree that it's beautiful and fun and it makes a lot of sense why it's so popular. Those Gucci bottles are gorgeous!
Oh, Ani! Talk about crowd-pleasing perfume! I had people following me on the street to ask the name of my perfume. It is annoying sometimes! I like it a lot but mostly in the cold weather and I can do 2 sprays max! Tears of Iris and Midnight stroll are my favourites from Gucci but I kinda like eyes of the tiger too!

I got iris torrefie I got 50 off So I was excited. I see what your saying that it’s nothing special. There isn’t much coffee if any at all. This just feels like pure iris with some musk little sweetness towards the base. It’s not that heavy of a scent. I love it because even though I have a lot of iris based scents this one has deferent character. Has that make up bag smell but I smell the root slightly. Some times feels green. Will enjoy it. Thanks for sharing your views on ani. I have it. Love it I get slight sandalwood from it also but of course mostly vanilla.

Love the Gucci Alchemist line I own five bottles from this house. I need to get my hands on those two you just reviewed.
Ani was my SOTD, and I smelled of citrus cake all day long. Like it a lot.
Application is king when it comes to Nishane. A few spritzes go a long way.
Ill keep saying it, I enjoy your delivery. Super unique. Had Ani. Literally smells like vanilla extract straight from my kitchen cabinet. I can buy that for a few dollars if I want vanilla extract. Sold it fast.

I love gourmands and I quite like Nishane as well, but I just can't convince myself I like Ani. I was really looking forward to it, but on my skin it smells like cereal with patchouli.

Great review once again well said on Ani one of my favorites can’t wait till it cools down here in Los Angeles to finally use it. Gucci tears of iris sounds interesting does it have the makes up bag type of smell like in Dior homme parfum ?
Ani didn’t work for me. I was surprised because I love vanilla. However, Saks had a sale and I just ordered Gucci Eyes of the Tiger. I’ve been wanting it for a while. The bottles are gorgeous and Tears of Iris is another one I would love to own. Thanks for the review Eugene!

I'm really interested by the Tears of Iris but not sure I would love it so I don't think I'm gonna risk it. I heard people describing it as a grey, cold, sad iris ... I believe this is where the name comes from 😉

Saw the alchemist garden and I awaited Eyes of the tiger review, which was my favourite from the line. Also the SA went on rambling about that "they combine in many ways" bs that proves the consumerist idea. Why spray a fragrance 3 times when you can spray 2 fragrances 6 times and just throw money at the brand.

Not a big fan of Ani, it’s a meh for me. I prefer Chanel Allure Edition Blanche for the same effect of the citrus with vanilla cream. Curious about the Gucci line.

Ani is basically a vanilla citrus cake, overhyped af, it should be reserved for compliment junkie bro crowd, not even their best. Sultan Vetiver is where Nishane shines for me

Shame there's such a strong lavender in the opening, i dont get it. If they ditched that i would have loved this as the vanilla is spot on...but lavender !!!!! Luckily it doesn't stick around too long but i cant get over the grandma opening!
To me Ani reminds me of Shalimar l’eau. Creamy lemon vanilla posset kind of thing. The shalimar is cheaper.😬
Tried Ani recently and I honestly just think it’s a cheap clone of Hermes Agar Ebene 🤷♂️

Eugene, I very rarely find your reviews useful (you have a peculiar taste for perfumes and a little full of yourself) but here you nailed it!!! Ani is nice but way overhyped and not for someone with a bunch of niche fragrances in the collection. Love how you pronounce ANI :)

They say “top sellers” I agree collectors would probably appreciate different perfumes in them. I still don’t own Carnal Flower so I’ll probably pick it up in that bottle.
