You really don't understand the level they are singing wise I promise, you should watch a recording behind, chills the whole time, every time, especially Belle she's a different level of singer, like the A-List level that you can't only practice your way into. The Midas Touch recording behind made me cry, yes cry, vocals so unbelievable it brought tears to my eyes, every time I watch one my jaw is on the floor and I've watched it multiple times. And yes you should do Belle's Lee Mujin service; she also covered Bambi by Baekhyun and killed that, (still want a full cover TT) They have not been able to breathe since they debuted, they work nonstop and even have a giant bed in their practice room so they can just pass out at the company because they don't get time to rest..they said they spend most of their time in the car to the point they have items from their kitchen and a trash can in it. It seems like they're just big and popular and everywhere but S2 has only 1 group which is them and no clout or power in the industry, they are simply working their asses off. They deserve more support from everyone, they're putting out some of the highest quality stuff of the whole 5th gen AND with a limited budget. And if you watch any of their interviews and know more about them you'll understand they're actual artists with their own creative control. I'm paraphrasing but Julie and Natty literally put together a presentation pre-debut and told the company who they are as people and artists, what they want to do and where they want to go with this group point blank and to basically trust them and that's what they're doing. They explained the most about themselves as artists in the interview Belle and Julie did with pH-1. That interview is amazing and explains almost everything thus far it's also fun and entertaining and just pH-1 fanboying hard the whole time even though he's a super senior artist to them lol. They have had many super seniors to them acknowledge and say that they are huge fans of them already such as Chungha, Zico, Girls Day Hyeri, Brown eyed Girls, etc. (industry vets) and from industry professionals, choreographers to idols even from 1st and 2nd gen. They haven't even been out 1 year yet and other rookie groups younger than them have already said that they look up to them and strive to be like them on stage. Everyone loves Kiss of Life but they still haven't even gotten their first win yet it's criminal and so is the favoritism, they really deserve more.
When you say Bad News instrumental reminds you of something it samples No Diggity. Shhh sampled part of Drop it Like It's Hot and Midas Touch they said was inspired a lot by Britney Spears and a lot of people said it reminded them of the Cheetah Girls/early 2000s music.
