The problem is that the children initially said nothing happened and could have been persuaded to lie. The other accusations against him were for much older (teenagers) children. While still an incredibly bad look to be seducing teenage girls, it's not this. I think Busfield AND the parents should agree to a lie detector test... though I wish lie detectors were better.

I was abused by a university employee. Between 2016-2018, if someone had approach me and asked me if he put his hands on me, I would have denied it. I didn't come forward till 2019 when his girlfriend found out about us. When I tried to file a report with the university, they were like are you sure you want to do this, you are going to be affecting his career. He still works at the University.

I made this comment elsewhere on another video where I mentioned, on set there is always crew around, so those young kids would never be alone with Timothy. Plus, at that young age, the parents or guardians would always be there. Why would they disappear from the set and let their child be with only Timothy? These parents are mad that their kids are no longer on the show. They are teaching their child to lie. When these kids get older, they will remember this and will have resentment towards their parents. Melissa is also right, Timothy's career is over. It does not matter if he is innocent or not. Ask yourself this question: if revealed and proven during the trial that false accusations were made against Busfield revealed to be retaliatory payback for not retaining the boys for the last year of the program, who has the most to lose? Busfield is exonerated, if there is clear evidence of fraud involving the parents to NM police, the parents could be prosecuted and given prison time, with the father shipped back to federal prison after imprisonment in NM. The parents have not initiated any type of monetary lawsuit. NM law clearly states that "tickling" could be used as grooming. It is in NM law. Why has he got his hands on those boys for any reason, especially Busfield's own admission that during a tickling session his hand may have touched the boys genitals by accident. How is a young child supposed to know the difference between directed and accidental touching of their most private area? They only know they were touched. I made this comment elsewhere on another video where I mentioned, on set there is always crew around, so those young kids would never be alone with Timothy. Plus, at that young age, the parents or guardians would always be there. Why would they disappear from the set and let their child be with only Timothy? These parents are mad that their kids are no longer on the show. They are teaching their child to lie. When these kids get older, they will remember this and will have resentment towards their parents.
Melissa is also right, Timothy's career is over. It does not matter if he is innocent or not. Cancelled culture is not forgiving and it only has a tunnel vision.

Yeah, Hollywood parents, just as obnoxious as the type you might find in the 1930's, these are the parents want to live off of or live through their child or even both, any type of rejection or loss of income sends them into an absolute rage, what they need is psychiatric help, they must be stopped before it's too late, this is child abuse.
I worked in litigation for 30 years. I do not know the family of the boys in question. The father, a former attorney, got caught up in a scheme of his own making involving millions of dollars, was arrested, and went to federal prison. That's all I know. I don't know if his release from prison was predicated upon not committing further criminal acts, or back to jail you go. Ask yourself this question: if revealed and proven during the trial that false accusations were made against Busfield revealed to be retaliatory payback for not retaining the boys for the last year of the program, who has the most to lose? Busfield is exonerated, if there is clear evidence of fraud involving the parents to NM police, the parents could be prosecuted and given prison time, with the father shipped back to federal prison after imprisonment in NM.
The parents have not initiated any type of monetary lawsuit. NM law clearly states that "tickling" could be used as grooming. It is in NM law. Why has he got his hands on those boys for any reason, especially Busfield's own admission that during a tickling session his hand may have touched the boys genitals by accident. How is a young child supposed to know the difference between directed and accidental touching of their most private area? They only know they were touched. Like when Busfield admitted to direct touching of his lips kissing a minor as he rams his hand down her jeans and directly touching her vagina, which occurred more than once, different girls.

He was alerted there was an outstanding arrest warrant for him. If he had hired an attorney at that point, the attorney should have advised him to turn himself in at the local police station, quietly without press. The NM detectives would have flown up to get him the next day, he would have been processed and released until the next court appearance. Instead it's all over the media, he's in jail for a week and all of his sick secrets from his past revealed for the light of day. He and Melissa get in a car and drove to NM. Because he didn't check in, NM got the federal Marshall's involved, so he has a federal warrant outstanding. They get to NM and his dumbass attorney ... While he has two outstanding arrest warrants outstanding ... Gets him to take a polygraph and some psychosexual .. that's the name ... Results wherein Busfield states he and Melissa don't have sex anymore, and for a long time, they are more cuddlers... Seriously. What is that supposed to show? The jury could assume it means he's only sexually aroused by sex with children .... Who knows what it means?
And in the document he further stated he only has sexual gratification via masterbation, and he hadn't done that for six months. Why Melissa is sticking by her man is beyond me. In Virginia we say, once you open the barn door and the cow gets out, you've waived your privilege to remain silent. Who knows? At the very least, they need to move all of their assets into her name. If he's found guilty, the courtay assign court costs and fines. They can't attach his property if he doesn't have any.
