Just received mine on Sunday. When I first seen it I knew I had to buy it. Was checking out the details on it and it looks great! To be honest it reminded me of my days in the hood/vario with the carnales and culture… Northern Cali. Bay Area life….😎
Very, very nice design. I prefer the rounds to the bars, but you can't go wrong either way. I was unaware of the history of this design, so glad I stumbled across the vid. Thanks!
Fun fact, the Aztecs got most of the design from the Olmecs version from centuries earlier, that calendar is a truly legendary and ancient system. Awesome collection man. I managed to get one of all the different types a few months back just cause they are so awesome looking, like a hybrid of lost treasure and modern bullion. Glad I started with the 10oz at the beginning of the year before prices took off lol. Check out Silver Dragons video about antiquing these, makes them look even more amazing!
@@tototl13 They based theirs on the Mayan and the Mayan based theirs on the Olmec. All 3 have a 365 day civil cycle and an inner 260 day religious cycle. Most of the gods represented are also basically revisions of the previous ones too.
I just subscribed. I love the Aztec design 2. I used 2 have a wall plaque of the Aztec calendar years ago. Now I'm going 2 buy the rounds n bars. Sometimes they r hard 2 find. I don't have any now, since I just 2 months ago started buying silver. I don't have much at all, but I'm on my way now n am going 2 add these 2 my collection if I find them on sale..they r gorgeous n I can't wait 2 see them n person.... .. Marsha.
I mean they look great! The design is fantastic. The price per gram is lower on the standard APMEX bars even though the design is not great. The melt value is the same.
One of my favorite stackers. The premium is very high and I don't buy these as an investment but as ready give gifts for special occasions from weddings to birthdays, Christmas or graduations ect. Everybody loves to get one of these as they are actually art. Like I said, great to own but not the best stackable if you are trying to maximize buy back as you want to get the most silver for the lowest price - trying to haggel over the beauty of a bar is a lost cause. Spot is spot and art is art.
I know this video goes a couple years back, but these coins and bars are pretty much all I have been stacking for quite some time; the design is hands down the prettiest out there. 1 oz Eagles are nearly $ 20 higher in price, so in the end, gram per gram, you have a safer investment with these. I would rather invest in Canadian Maples or even Brittanias before choosing Eagles (Again, gram vs gram in Silver value).
I collect them in 1/2 oz rounds. . . personally, I don't want rounds or bars larger than 1/2 oz; I do own 1, 5, 10 oz bars and rounds, but that is from when I first started stacking.
They should make a design similar to this detail that makes a sundial when you insert 2 silver toothpicks. That can be removed from the bar itself kinda like the phones that have a built in stylus.
Yes these are awesome. I have a 5oz round on the way from SD bullion right now! I flipped a chuck of my accrued bitcoin into various silver, but I just had to have the aztec sun calendar.
www.goldenstatemint.com has everything. the 5oz round is the coolest if you ask me. they have the capsules for them too plus your buying DIRECT from the mint..
I have a bunch of the 2oz rounds and 5oz rounds and 5 oz bars. I don't have the 10oz aztec bars but I got plenty of the 10oz bars. And a few kilos I got over 18,700 ozs at my goal before next summer is 20k I get 1k ozs per year
I just bought an Aztec round and it's weight and diameter are correct however it is only 2.7 mm thick and the Golden State Mint states they are 3.2 mm thick. From your experience with these rounds should I be concerned with the coin being thinner than they state or is it not unusual? Your advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
Just bought my first silver and I bought the five oz Aztec bar because like you said it is beautiful. I'm planning on stacking in hopes that in thirty years or so itle be worth more or at least keep its value incase the doller loses some value. Any tips?
@@ayegee5353 ... Thanks Ayegee. I found them. They have them n all sizes at Golden State mint, a great inventory, bars n rounds. I appreciate u..tell them marsha sent u if u like them...
I started my 5 oz Silver Aztec Calendar Bars (4) and am thinking about buying 4 more, but if I can't get those, then hopefully I'll get the 10 oz Silver Aztec Calendar Bars (2) But for some reason Silver dealers don't have any of these in stock. I wonder when their next shipment is?
It’s not a waste of money buying silver lol. I guarantee that in the next 10 to 20 years you will be looking back laughing about how much you paid for it now😂😂😂!!! Silver and gold are going to skyrocket. Now is the time to buy.
Cool design but in no way investment. I bought a 1oz round and a 5oz round before but only 1 of each just because of the design but no way I would buy any more weight than that. The premiums on these are loco. Looking on a well known dealer site here in the UK they are asking £350 for one of these 10oz bars. That is more than double spot value. The same dealer will sell a serialised Pamp Suisse 10oz bar for £320 or a Royal Mint Britannia 10oz bar for £270.
These are nice, but don't put them in those plastic cases, clink them mfers. You're not gonna get much more than spot for them anyway if/when you sell them.
Yessir I'm new to this collecting silver and gold and right now I'm up 5 oz of Silver and 1 oz of gold.
🔥🔥🔥
Sometimes you just have to pay a little more to get what you want. If it what you want go for it. I do. I love the Aztec stuff.
Queens Beasts and the Aztec coins/bars are the best designs in silver. Love your Aztec collection, beautiful

You are wrong about The Aztecs getting their designs from the Olmec.

the aztec calandar is beautiful and misterious, it looks amazing on a coin
Diamond Dave told me about yall. I stack too always keep one month of income in silver and gold.
Rounds or 10oz is good. 1oz bars is less ROI.
Appreciate you... 🙏🏿
I just bought the same thing I got the 5-ounce bar love it I'm going to get more !
The got fractional sizes of these now too! 1/10, 1/4, and 1/2 oz rounds. The half oz is a great gift to get people interested in stacking.
Brooo I full started buying the same bars, it's my only bar I collect 😂❤❤ LONG LIVE THE AZTEC, LONG LIVE CUAUHTEMOC

Where to buy these bars??
Apmex, SD Bullion, JM Bullion and Local dealers.
I'm wondering if the government is buying up all the silver or something cause Nobody has any in stock.
Beautiful. My first non silver eagle silver purchase
Mines too lol

But are these from the Mexican mint?
Well I didn't buy directly from the Mint.
Where do you buy this silver? Please send the website
I check a couple of sites to compare prices. If you can shoot me an inbox on IG and I'll help you out. 🙏🏿
