@AdamDunebugDunas The accusation that Hamas systematically uses Palestinian civilians as human shields is a baseless narrative crafted to justify Israel's relentless military violence against Gaza. The IDF have wielded this claim for decades, yet independent investigations by Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch, including during the 2014 Gaza war, have found no credible evidence to support it. These organisations have made it clear: the legal definition of human shields requires the deliberate coercion of civilians to deter attacks-something Hamas has not been shown to do. The reality is simpler and more damning for the accuser: Gaza’s dense population, the result of Israeli-imposed restrictions, leaves civilians with no safe spaces during attacks. This "human shields" narrative is not about protecting civilians-it is a cynical propaganda tool. Scholars like Neve Gordon and Nicola Perugini have shown how the term is weaponised by powerful states to obscure their own culpability. Harvard law professor Duncan Kennedy identifies its strategic purpose: to shift accountability for civilian casualties onto the weaker party, reframing war crimes as unavoidable necessity. These accusations serve to sanitise Israel’s military campaigns and deflect attention from the systemic violence of occupation. The conditions in Gaza render these accusations particularly cruel. Over two million Palestinians are confined to 365 square kilometres, a strip of land under permanent blockade that has become one of the most densely populated areas in the world. The United Nations OCHA has documented how Israeli restrictions on movement and development prevent civilians from escaping danger. Gaza isn’t just crowded-it’s a prison, one designed by Israeli policy. In this environment, resistance groups cannot operate without proximity to civilians. Yet the Israeli government uses this situation, for which it is to blame, as a pretext for blaming Palestinians themselves for getting killed. The hypocrisy becomes glaring when we consider the systematic and well-documented IDF practice of using Palestinians as human shields. This tactic even has a nickname: the "neighbour procedure," a euphemism for forcing Palestinian civilians to carry out dangerous tasks during military operations, such as entering buildings suspected of containing explosives or walking ahead of soldiers as shields. During the 2002 Battle of Jenin, Human Rights Watch reported numerous instances of the IDF compelling civilians to accompany them in combat zones, in clear violation of international law. In 2009, during Operation Cast Lead, the IDF was forced to admit in court to using a 13-year-old Palestinian boy to open potentially booby-trapped bags. Accounts and footage of Israeli ground forces using this tactic in Gaza over the past year suggests that their sense of impunity has only grown since then. For example, you might have seen some footage from not too long ago of Israeli soldiers tying a wounded Palestinian man to a military jeep during a raid in Jenin. None of these are isolated incidents but part of a systematic approach to minimise IDF casualties at the expense of Palestinian civilians.

Who is the real terrorist? The world, and Israel in particular, must reassess the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine. For over 75 years, Palestinians have endured oppression as a stateless people since the creation of the Israeli state. They have faced countless massacres and what many describe as an ongoing genocide in Gaza. Historically, prior to the collapse of the Ottoman Empire, Jewish communities lived in harmony and thrived within Islamic empires across the Middle East, including regions like Iraq, Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Egypt. At the time of the UN's partition plan, Jewish people constituted only about 40% of the population in Palestine, yet were granted 60% of the land. Since then, Israel has consistently disregarded international conventions on sovereignty and has effectively imprisoned Palestinians in what many describe as an open-air prison. The global community has largely ignored the plight of Palestinians, who are fighting for their freedom, dignity, and identity-values that are supposedly emblematic of democracy, which Western powers claim to cherish and uphold. The hypocrisy of this situation is glaring. How can we, as a global society, claim to champion freedom and human rights while turning a blind eye to the Palestinians' struggle for basic rights? After 75 years, one must ask: who truly has been the aggressor in this long and painful conflict?....
It’s clear who’s the aggressor and others saying otherwise are either moral less zionists that know full well or people who believe things like this channel

Majority of the land given to the Jews was the Negev desert that was totally useless for cultivation at that time.
It’s clear who’s the aggressor and others saying otherwise are either moral less zionists that know full well or people who believe things like this channel

Rather, seek the ˹reward˺ of the Hereafter by means of what Allah has granted you, without forgetting your share of this world. And be good ˹to others˺ as Allah has been good to you. Do not seek to spread corruption in the land, for Allah certainly does not like the corruptors.”
