The white sauce is yogurt. Plain yogurt is called “Dahi”. You guys most likely have “Raita” which is Dahi plus spices, cucumbers, etc. It is used to spice down your bite or it is used as an extra layer of flavor. So you’d take a bite of garlic naan, dip it in butter chicken, and then take a little spoon and put the white sauce on top. It’s layers of different flavors. Samosas are usually eaten with those two sauces: red and green. Red is usually tamarind or a mixture of some things and is usually sweeter with a bit of tang….Green one is what we simply refer to as chutney…it’s made with mint as the main ingredient mostly, sometimes could be made with cilantro…to make it easier “green chutney” because chutney could be mango chutney. You can dip it in either or both…you can call them red chutney and green chutney…

The white yogurt sauce is called " Raita" and is supposed to eat with Spicy Biriyani which neutralises the hotness of the dish. The burgandy sauce is " tamarind " sauce which is sweet& tangy to be dipped in hot chilly Samosa. And green sauce is Mint sauce to give a refreshing palate.
Guyanese food. Some bake and salt fish, goat curry and dhal purie, pepperpot, guyanese Chinese food and some Guyanese pastries like pinetart and black eye/Chinese cakes, some Barra or polourie.
I recommend enjoying Indian food piping hot to fully savor its authentic flavors. Opt for a stovetop pan over a microwave for reheating, and for naan, achieve a delightful crispiness by using butter or ghee on the pan if an oven is unavailable.

Mango lassi 😂😂😂😂😅😅😅🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thank you for your comment ❤️
nice, you just touched the surface of Indian food... but yah, you gots to check out India and become one with it. Each religion has a place in India. 🙏🏽
Also, theres south Indian food to try as well. But yah, check out fresh tandoori chicken, dahl, chicken jalfrazy, chicken boona, and the many desserts. Like Galub Jamun (it needs to be warm and crisp outer layer).

These are the perfect starter meals, for non Indians, the creamy Sause is called Raita, to help you cool down, should the food get to spicy.
I think that is so thoughtful that you guys have a sauce to cool down your mouth. But thank you for the comment ❤️
