    Love this song. Man, love the way you teach this. Tried to watch another video, wasn't explained as well. By the way, love your shirt. My wife bought me the sweat shirt, with the same picture. Thanks man, now a subscriber. Love that guitar.

  • @ChicagoBeaver
    @ChicagoBeaver 3 года назад

    Damn, what a lesson! This is typical Randy type of chords and progressions, plus the smoking leads. He was the real deal. I saw Ozzy with Sabbath touring with Van Halen, but never with Randy.

    • @dougsteeleguitar
      @dougsteeleguitar  3 года назад

      whoa, what year was that?

    • @ChicagoBeaver
      @ChicagoBeaver 3 года назад

      @@dougsteeleguitar That was 79 I think, it was Van Halen's first tour and Sabbath was on their "Never Say Die," tour. Chicago Ampitheatre, Illinois.

    • @ChicagoBeaver
      @ChicagoBeaver 3 года назад +1

      Actually 1978 sorry. Both albums from Van Halen and Sabbath came out in 1978.

    I learned something new today. In addition to learning a kick A$$ song , I also learned the crux of the biscuit is the apostrophe.
    It’s from a Frank Zappa song Stink-foot

    I learned this song by ear but there was something missing with those little idiosyncrasies Randy added to his playing. Thanks for the video. 👍🤘

    Good video man I learned it real quick. I couldn't pull off that open note on the B string in opening riff I found it much easier to play it on the G string 5th fret the next note is on 4th fret anyway so it just seemed natural.

    Doug, thank you....I'm a huge fan of Van Halen, RATT, Lynch and Ozzy!!!!! I Love your instructional videos. If you are taking requests...I could use some help with and would love to see you do "Diary of a Madman." It's one of my favorite Randy songs. I think it exemplifies his true classical talent. Any possibility? Thank you again, Rock on!

  • @shanemiller2046

    I prefer a lesson on a fast course like this. I can't stand where someonen drags out every note. I lose interest.
