Same here. Saturn is in 5th house but retrograde 29.53 degree Capricorn but the 6th house ATMA sounds more true for me than the 5th house.
Could it be because it's such a borderline degree and in retrograde ?

But Sat in 5th house is a killjoy in the sense makes one lack passion and having fun or taking rest seems uncomfortable to this position if this is in your case then your Saturn is working about right in 5th house

1. Please remember to use SIDEREAL signs only to calculate degrees! Atmakaraka cannot be calculated from tropical zodiac>🙏
2. Use MEAN node position of Rahu. ( so called true node is not as accurate } Also as on video take Rahu degree away from 30! to get degree of Rahu for this purpose ( as he travels retrograde]

This is amazing! I have been using Sidereal Tropical Ayanamsa, and just have switched over to Lahiri. It is crazy to me how much the Lahiri is confirming my Tropical placements. I am Saturn Atma in Lahiri, and I am literally in therapy because I do not know why it is my duty to take care of my family, as I have always put myself last, and have given up a lot for them (as I am not married yet) and NOW I know why, and why I’m a Cancer Rising-it is my karma! Very true with my AK Mars - anger issues so much extreme anger issues( happened during AK mahadasha at my young age), still struggling to control my argumentive nature, anger issues....my AK Mars itself is my 9th house lord sitting in the 9th house.....very true I am seperated from my father from very young age....I stopped communicating with my father during my Mars AK mahadasha....and I fully let go of my father...and by God's grace I could finish my Master's my higher education in a foreign land and education is so much importance to me...Also I love to settle in foreign land....I love foreign languages , cultures , also spirituality (as 9th represents spiritual things too)... Waiting to see what comes next to me ...and learning the lesson of letting go of things out of my hands with God's grace 🙏

Your work is amazing 🤩 my Atmakaraka is Mars 29 degrees in Western Astrology as I’m American and use western charts it in my 10th house in Gemini I have struggled in my career my whole life married young and husband didn’t want me to work not go to college… late in life I divorced and was working 80 hours a week at ago 55… put my self through school although I make good money it’s always eaten up by bills for my house or medical insurance… this is why I study astrology because it’s a book of knowledge into the life of us all
Wonderful video! I have mercury as my AK in the 4th house. Issues with mom, most definitely. I think i have learned to accept things the way they are in our relationship. I know she cares about me but i also know she thinks less of me. Money issues can get out of hand sometimes even though I'm not a big spender. But there's always something to be done, paid or bought. Money issues have also interrupted my education. Plus health issues too. I think maybe this is because mercury is the 6th and 9th lord? Not sure. Looking forward to the next video👌

Hello Gina, I love your style, very accurate. I am listening to all the planetary positions separately to figure out my chart. All my planets except the moon are in the 7th house in Capricorn. Moon is in Virgo. Asc is Cancer with Rahu. Mercury is my AK. I wish you analyzed charts. I would love to know what this means.
With Saturn atmakaraka..I love being around ppl..the moment am alone I go into depression..but duty and serving others is a part from my childhood but I love charity and giving...I enjoy serving ppl, helping others. My mercury atmakarak is in jyeshtha-moola gandanta, debilitated in D9 but in Virgo in D60 aspected by Saturn in Pisces. Over time, it’s become very hard for me to speak a lie or be rude to anyone and it’s made me happier.
I have Saturn as Atmakaraka in 12th house of Pisces in Revathi 4.
I'm a researcher in progress, but my career vision is to work in humanitarian works. Saturn here has made me absorb all pain, suffering of family and every people I come across.

My AK is mars, in Gemini- in the 10th house. This is so accurate. And as someone who knows who I was in previous lifetimes- I’ve dealt with a lot of violence, and war-like themes. In this lifetime, I’m very rebellious, a dislike of being told what to do- and a sharp tongue 😬. I’m trying to tone that down lol, but I’ll use it when needed. I love having mars as my AK

Wow Thank you for your in-depth explanation. My Mercury 29 degrees in Gemini in the first house is tied with Rahu 1 degree in Taurus in the 12th house. My life has felt decently intense because of early abuse to overcome and I’m very sensitive to feeling other people's energies. I do feel a lot of potential for spiritual growth and I know I’m on some type of mission. Also I have felt the need to be very careful because life is important. I have always had trouble feeling misunderstood and figuring out how to say my truth and stand in it without being fearful of others judgements and misinterpretations. I’ve been quiet in the world because I think so differently than most people. And I can feel arrogant about it.
All fits so well with my vision of a past life that revealed itself to me over a few years. I was a nun with other nuns running a catholic boarding school or something like that. We were in charge of children and I was very religiously strict and made them behave in Jesus name - and I was wrong about some of that. Many children came through there over the years, so I feel like I’m meeting all of those people this lifetime and I need to do right by them, and myself as well. I find people can be afraid of me and females want to compete with me when I’m just doing nothing. I’m usually soft-spoken now that my husband has passed. Sometimes when I get to know people, I'm so proud of them and marvel at how they turned out. I feel my birth family and my husband were some of the kids I was the hardest on. I'm paying off karma in this life. If you’re reading this and you recognize it because you were one of my children or one of the nuns working with me, I’m sorry for what I did wrong and I love you

Rahu at 0 degrees and Saturn@ 26 Degrees - Rahu Atmakaraka 11th House Leo along with Saturn, Mars, Moon,Jupiter - Libra Ascendant - Good clarification about the Atmakaraka being related to Karma's and the Sun related to Soul. Interesting interpretation of the various Karaka meanings, Both Saturn and Rahu Atmakaraka meanings resonate almost totally. Great information about Malefic planets and spiritual progress and problems in life - 'Put to the Mill' - That's a first to describe life problems and yes, the suffering is absolutely Soul touching. The Malefic Atmakaraka's have Houses - The House on Fire Picture was absolutely spot on and symbolic of the connection between the Atmakaraka and the House. Tragic but a beautiful picture in its own way. Great advise for 11th house. Letting Go could also be interpreted as Acceptance. Overall a fantastic video once again Gina. Hi, no I always said it was Mercury his ruling planet. Rahu is in tenth house etc,,important in many recent eclipses .I think you are meaning the clip on this vid at beginning! ,,no I say Rahu is next down with Jupiter, Mercury his AK and current Dasha.

Jupiter at 26 :0! In Taurus too. I was told in a past life I was stoned to death for being a witch but apparently, I was laughing at them the whole time until death. Ive noticed Im often ignored by my family or put down when its information Im proficient in but always listened to when Im trying to add to their knowledge. But, funnily enough, my dad my whole life had consistently told me and my brother “To be humble, no matter what. Even if you think you’re better or you know you are, always be humble.” Its genuinely one of the most important things thats ever stuck with me.

Moon at 29 degrees in Taurus House 10. Incredibly true. Karma with my mom for sure. I have put her on a pedestal and been taking care of her for the past 10 years esp. Yes, I def put too much into my career as a teacher, way too involved but love kids and it s been a caring and fulfilling role for me, even if draining oftentimes. Sensitive, yes, and when I get mad, I tend to hide emotions instead of getting hysterical which I bet can be confusing to others. Unconditional caring, sharing def happening as I ve given my all for my son, mom and family. Luckily, without any regrets ever, but, on the contrary, with joy.( Must be my Sun in Virgo house 2)🙂

Saturn in 8th as Atmakaraka. Actually it is a very easy position - if you put 2x minus it becames positive. The only secret ist, that you don't have to be attached with almost anything, not with your ego, not with money and not with people. Then it will work very smooth and some rewards will return to you unexpectedly. If you are too much involved in something, it can be a burden. If you are willing to let go of proactively, it becomes even more easy. So, when friends for example begin to bother or disappoint me in some way (which can happen, because with this constellation everything can turn out to be a false flag), I don't wait the whole process, but I will get rid of them directly. This is not only a karmic lesson for me, but also for them. When I was younger, this wasn't as easy at it is today as I was very anxious and always alarmed, that something could happen - and went the other way round. Very severe child because I felt betrayed or alone very often. But as I said earlier, the only way out is to get rid of things, before they got rid of you. Having Ketu in 12th in Pisces (D9) and I hope to attain Moksha in this life cycle to finish the earthly karmic cycle. And for all, please consider with everything you do: "Karma is a bitch!"
Makes perfect sense! My mom and I are both cancer suns and she abandoned me multiple times. Not a sob story, just facts! I have a Scorpio moon (progressed Taurus) and I like to think I am an excellent mother. Mothering my own kids healed my mother wounds.

Hey Gina, regarding the way you calculated the degrees for Rahu/ketu in this video, are we supposed to calculate the degrees of all retrograde planets in a similar way?

Atmakarak Mars at 27 degrees, combust, in gandanta, conjunct with amatyakarak (Sun)… in Scorpio (5 planets total in this sign, i.e. stellium)… Rahu & Mercury conjunct in d1, d9, d10… Direct opposition of Sun and Moon (in Ashlesha) in d9 (2 minutes difference) among other things. yeah… life is never boring for me. ⚡️😀💥

Excellent analysis 👏. Does Rahu become atmakarqka.if it holds the lowest degree in the chart since it goes anti clockwise??.l have Rahu at 0.1 degree which means it actually crossed 29.9 degrees in that sign.

AK Sun..I definitely had issues with authority figures, in my teens and twenties. I accept things and have more humility now.
