I love the moment Eddie and Steve are speaking about Dustin and they both realize Dustin really looks up to and loves _both_ of them and they agree he's a great kid.
Yes! Steve learns from Eddie that Dustin “worships you, Dude”. I also love when Steve and Eddie bond over Dustin’s arrogance (in an exasperated yet affectionate way)

I forgot about the parallels of steve running away but coming back to be the hero. So unfair Eddie couldn't survive too :(

unpopular opinion of mine, eddie’s “sacrifice” was meaningless…. just saying. he didn’t buy them anymore time or anything. he should have just run.
@@queenlizzzieee1459 No I 100% agree. It was bad writing on their part, the duffers should have at least written it so Eddie died saving someone when it really needed to happen. That would have made him a hero. Instead he basically just sacrificed himself so he could go down as "not a coward." it felt so predictable.
This was beautiful and really shows the parallels between Steve's arc and Eddie's arc. I just wish Eddie would have had the chance to grow even more like Steve did. I think if he had survived, he and Steve would have even been friends.
It's just so unfair because it's obvious the Duffers created Eddie so they wouldn't have to kill off Steve

@@YourReelEdit maybe it was blatantly obvious for a reason. like, come on. the duffers are not idiots, it was meant to be obvious for anyone who has enough brain cells to realize it at least. now the question is why would they do this? well, there is only one answer. they have a bigger plan for Steve in s5. they needed all of their core characters alive because they all have a purpose in the final fight. but they also said there would be a major death in season 4 so the duffers created someone really lovable to kill off. they have done this every season.
@@davem8428 I'm honestly so tired of them *having* to kill off a new lovable character every season. Eddie was fantastic, had a whole character arc within one season, was a great addition to the group, all that to be dispensable? There's no central character they've introduced after season one that's still alive. I avoided this season for exactly that reason, even when friends told me I would adore Eddie, and I pegged it right from the start they were going to kill him off because of it. It's just disappointing. :/

Finally someone put EVERYTHING Steve and Eddie's parallels. Not all even fans remember that Steve ran away from danger too. Steve and Eddie are very similar and that's cool. But on the other hand, Eddie died Steve's death it's sad.

Steve and Eddie relate to each other in a similar way. Steve fought the Demogorgon to help Nancy and Johnathan. Eddie stayed behind to fight off the bats in order to protect and buy Steve, Nancy, and Robin more time. These moments show that these characters are heroes for what they’ve done.

What breaks my heart is that both Steve & Eddie were both bitten by those bats. What kills me (no pun intended) is that Steve survived, but Eddie lost his life for a town who was afraid & hated him so much. Hawkins was not worth losing Eddie’s life for. However, Eddie did die to save his friends. At last years HHN in Universal Studios Hollywood, in Stranger Things 4 maze, Eddie comes out with those bats on his chest. I told Eddie how I felt about him. I screamed out his name, and I begged him not to die. Thanks for this beautiful, yet tearful video tribute of my dream men, Steve & Eddie.

I love how all 3- Dustin, Steve and Eddie are the only child in their families and how Steve and Eddie both became like big brothers to Dustin. I think they all needed that. So heartbreaking they killed off Eddie. I wanted to see more scenes of the 3 of them together.

Oh wow, this gutted me in the best and worst way possible 🥺🥺 they really made Eddie die Steve's death-
The ending really struck me because it reminded me of a line from How to Train Your Dragon (2010): "I wouldn't kill him because he looked as frightened as I was. I looked at him and I saw myself."
Also, your editing in regards to their dialogue and parallels are just immaculate - made me lose my mind at your attention to detail. Thank you 😭

Great vid Eddie was so good of a character! Quick question tho. What texture or effect did you use for the words on your thumbnail? it’s really good
The texture effect is my own coloring. For the thumbnail it’s the same coloring but I also just put a grey text over it with the overlay blend to give it that clear type of effect
@@YourReelEdit ohh ok thanks never knew you could do that. I really gotta get to using After effects and photoshop more. So did you already have like a pre save coloring pallete saved for that texture, or did you use the coloring in your thumbnail for the texture of the words after you did your color correction?
@@magnelloper Sorry just saw this now. The coloring of the thumbnail and the text don’t overlap. I only used my own premade coloring for the thumbnail/clip quality. The gray text was separate with the overlay setting so they didn’t affect the other.
Steve was supposed to die in season one but I feel like they did that with Eddie instead

Steve was bitten by the Demobats and survived, Eddie was also bitten by demobats but he didn't survive.
Eddie's wounds were far more sever. Like there was a video of people putting prosthetics of bats' wounds on Joe, and my guy, he had them everywhere. Legs, arms, torso, face, neck, when Steve only got choked and had a chunk of flesh missing from his abdomen. It's sad but the bats used Eddie as a chew toy and he had very little if not none chances at surviving. (none if you consider that he did died ;-; )
@@kakao7422 I know they were severe but Eddie didn't survive even though the Duffers said that the Democrats couldn't kill, they may have attacked him but he shouldnt really be dead since the Duffers cleared up the bats and what they can do, Steve was lucky but Eddie fought a full swarm on his own, Steve was with group, all the bats attracted to Eddie as he was all alone
@@KSixx17 True, Duffers said that bats cant kill, but blood lose can. And yeah, sad truth is jus like you said: Steve had 3 people to go and save him; Eddie was alone. But hey, we can always cling to the Kas theory, am I right?
@@kakao7422 there is enough evidence to support the Kas theory in the short amount of time we met Eddie, I think he could be Kas, bat to vampire, we never found out what happened to Eddies body in the upside down, we just know that Dustin was not strong enough to carry Eddie through as he was already injured
@@KSixx17 I also think that there is no other reason for them to just skip mention of Eddie's death and what happened with his body other than to make Vecna bring him back as his own personal weapon. I mean, what do they plan for season 5? Like, let's fight with Vecna and totally forget about that guy who died? Yeah, man, no way.
