Oh yes, as much fun as nailing my balls to a crucifix and dragging it step by step through a thron Bush.
I loved that there was a story about Clay, it's such a shame it was wasted on this dumb 1st person puzzle mode.

I always thought that the worlds should have stayed the same - but should have been playable in third person, like the whole "Truth" obstacle course in Brotherhood
Clay was sent to collect intel from them but then later gets betrayed, but he knew it was coming and knew it must happen. He let them destroy his mind all to ensure he leaves pieces of fragments behind in AC 2 and Brotherhood for Desmond to find. The Humanoid Beings told and showed him everything that he must and had to do, and he did it. He lived and died a true Assassin. His story is way more tragic then any Assassins story
Every single person that had a part in creating this should never be allowed to make games ever again
I absolutely detest this entire DLC. It isn't even related to difficulty. It is just not enjoyable to me. I was bored to death by the Desmond sequences in the main game and equally unimpressed with this. While I understand it serves to provide additional story info, I believe they could've provided this information through a far more enjoyable approach. First person platforming for a 3rd person series just doesn't gel for me.
i mean it's not like they did this in every game. they tried it out for one game and it wasn't awesome but definitely a bearable and short DLC
and ultimately it's a puzzle game. Assassin's Creed games, especially the early ones, were about solving puzzles
@@infraredxray Respect your opinion. Just isn't for me. I'll reiterate, my dislike isn't related to difficulty. There certainly isn't anything too challenging. I simply found it to be boring.

Well Ubisoft didn’t actually care to even properly address their backstories so when the time came where they eventually reached the point they absolutely had to address the events of both Desmond’s & Clay’s backstories they just decided to phone them in with the most laziest implemented 1st person platforming known to mankind & as a added bonus made intentionally to be super boring & so that the fan’s would stop asking for more “out of Animus” sections of the AC game’s tricking us into giving Ubisoft permission to completely abandon their modern day story..

If anyone else is ready to cry over getting the “cross the river Styx without dying” achievement, there’s a glitch video on RUclips on how to skip the initial laser section, meaning you can restart the mission much faster. I got the achievement after half a dozen tries 😭
I gave up for 6 months, came back to it and finally got it. 😂 such a piss take. I tried too many times.
My dad died of cancer but deserved better. Whomever designed this DLC doesn’t deserve better.

I got to admit when I was going through this part, I am not that good at the laser part. So I dropped past it and used a long block to save myself. Drop from the start to the area shown in 1:38.
This memory is bugged, when I try to set platform, I sometimes go through it and just die...

This kinda reminded me of "Dark" (TV series) lmfao. First, "the end is only the beginning" title reminded me of "the beginning is the end and the end is the beginning" quote from the tv series, also the achievement "loop" bc there was a time loop in the series too. If u have seen the show u will get what im saying
They really took a neat side feature from the campaign and went all out with it...

Not often I throw in the towel on video games but that jump beam bollocks on the final level just pissed me off so much that I couldnt be bothered wasting my time with it anymore and gave up. Never again. Judging from the lacklustre ending doesnt look I missed much anyways.

how are you placing the blocks at ~ 1:25? As soon as i put one down it just falls through the floor. And no im not placing them touching the lazer beam...
The only two ways for the blocks to disappear in that area is because you spawn too many or because the laser beam touched them.
Im not sure if i got a glitch of some description. I definitely did not touch the lazer beams nor had i placed more than 3 at a time. I managed it though by placing the blocks at the edges instead of in the middle of the area. No idea why it was doing it though.
Also, i would like to thank you for your videos, i have used quite a few during the Ezio Collection 100% synchs and they were invaluable. :)

FYI you can bypass that entire bit if you jump off the ledge at the very beginning of the level into the graffiti room. It takes some timing to throw a block down in time to catch yourself, but it's a lot easier than going through the lasers
I had a similar glitch at the exact same part. Place a block and right away it disintegrates. I was 100% inside the vacuum too.
where is all the stuff from ac3 like the fight club and guilds
I'm actually doing them. I hope to have something ready for tomorrow and to complete everything in a week or less.
