We really need a solo event, it shows every player’s individual abilities and could make a huge opportunity for some underrated players to find a great duo
It wasnt nearly as memorable on NAE, but I do still want to mention how this was the tourney that put Pamstou and Fatch on the map because while they had already qualled to FNCS multiple times, nobody really payed attention to them until Pamstou won solo all stars
solo fncs just doesnt work out good for competitive. the memories as a viewer are nice but thats not bc of solos its bc of the timeline. it was COVID and everyone was making memories while being indoors. Trio FNCS in Ch2S4 was just as good. comp players hate solos. i dont think you guys rmbr the amount of bitching fn pros did on twitter saying how much they hated solo invitationals lmfao. mathematically its just not good. in solos theres 100 players, 100 groups comprising of 1 player. so 100 groups means you need to have 100 drop spots; which is not possible. it is not possible to have 100 drop spots so what happens is players get contested. they get 50/50'd off spawn, which is heavily looked down upon and should not be encouraged. Bugha got contested at Lucky Landing his first game of the WC and then throughout the WC he got contested. getting 50/50'd off spawn just is not good for the comp scene. duos and trios are best

They have software in the game to detect and track original account owners
