i’ve been really inspired by those unententional asmr videos of saleswomen at shopping malls, i kind of love how you can tell its a bit scammy but they sell it so well it doesn’t matter. the “balm” used in tis vid is actually a solid perfume from “LitttleBits” on Etsy, i def recommend it (but not for the uses in the vid!!!)

Thank you for helping return ASMR to its roots. There are so many gimmicky offshoots of it now, and many content creators forget what made ASMR great to begin with: a friendly, relaxing interaction with someone speaking in a hushed voice who makes you feel that all is right with the world, or at least in the here and now. I’ve heard many today mispronounce ‘salve’ (probably because less is used today). It’s pronounced “SAHV.” The L is silent.

I’m from the uk and we use the word salve all the time and the L is not silent

Not sure where you learned that from but you do indeed pronounce the L. 'Salve' comes from the same Latin origin word as 'salvation' so is pronounced the same
