Betsy is based on the author Maud Hart Lovelace and she grew up in Mankato (Deep Valley) the society actually owns both Betsy and Tacy's houses. It is just a beautiful series. I heard that the books grow (in reading difficulty, for example) with the characters. In the back of the version I read, there are pictures of the actual people and places and descriptions of how they relate to the characters and places in the books. If I ever make it to that part of the USA, that is one place I’d love to visit! Have you ever been there?
I love Kurt Geiger! I just got a cardholder with the eagle head on it and I have my eye on one of his Kensington Heart Bags, crossbody bags, regular Kensington or something else. Now I want that charm, too, Jame. Loving the pieces you got from Portland Leather Goods, also. The Cameraman is cameraman-ing again. 😆🤣😂

I will tell you, I just never, ever liked the round bags. I know so many people enjoy them, I just don't. However, when I saw this strapped to the *front* of someone and making it hands free, I just really liked it. So, I am thinking it will be a great shopping and/or vacation bag. I still don't know that I would ever get a shoulder bag like that. but I do think this one is really nice. :-)
