I don't know them, but it happened a couple blocks from my home, now my wife wants us to take our 10 year old daughter and move out of Madison. I'm crying for the love we are having so much trouble finding in the city where I was born. I'm crying for the mothers and fathers, sons and daughters, brothers and sisters who have lost so much, who can't feel safe, who are forced to fear and shut out the love. If the "positivity" wasn't wrapped in all the metaphysical superstition it would be a lot easier to see it as positive. At this point in human history there are no positive aspects to clinging to yesterday's bad ideas. Even if it somehow manages to put you on the right path it's still not the right path.
This is easily one of the greatest examples of the power that words have. And how beautifully those words can be expressed. If this song doesn't move something inside of you, you're listening wrong.

Gotta disagree - rap reflects the individual MC's story - be that positive, political or hood, it doesn't have to follow a cliche'd "street life" narrative.

Where have all the moderate Muslims gone? Muhammad Ali was just as good a man as this Brother Ali, but that vain of Muslim is going out of the mainstream in the middle east today - it's sad. Iran used to be friends of the USA, now they want to kill us.
If you take the Indonesian vain of Islam, I think it's way better than that of any middle eastern country's version of the faith.
