Love the bird in the heart and the way you sewed around it. When you were talking about your dog being afraid of fireworks, it reminded me of our dog, Sophie. We moved halfway across the US from all of our family and friends. We made sure the house we bought had a fence so I could get a puppy. We got her in early June. Some friends invited us to their place for July 4th and we went for 4 years after that. We had never spent it in our neighborhood until Covid. I felt so bad when Sophie became so afraid of the fireworks here. Our neighborhood really celebrates with fireworks, it sounds like a war zone. Poor Sophie had spent 5 years alone listening and being scared by herself. She was also afraid of loud thunder. I told my husband that I would never spend July 4th away from her again.

Ah poor Sophie, they can get really frightened, can’t they, lucky you now know ❤️❤️❤️. Our Maggie is also afraid of thunder too! Take care - Sally x
