Despite the 1080p only stabilization I think the Redmi’s video was slightly more stable than the iPhone’s. It looked a tad smoother. Probably shoots at 4K and crops internally to achieve that stabilization.
Not at all, the night shots were too bad. If you can see the video, both were using 1080p at night, both in 30fps, but Redmi had a lot of motion blur which gives me a headache. The stabilization of Redmi is very unnatural while iPhone's mainly established on the camera itself.

i dont think its possible. because EIS actually works with wider and high frame capture to software processed as corrective the image position. whole iphone have OIS and its hardware stabilizer on the camera
The Redmi Note 10 Pro's camera is the clear winner in the majority of situations on account of its superior colour rendition; especially with skin tone (the I12 is noticeably inferior). After dark, it holds its own very well against the I12 (a few pictures even looked better). Overall, the I12 does a better job when light sources are included in the frame, because these tend to be slightly burnt out on the Redmi. The dynamic range is also better, but the payoff (yet again) seems to be less accurate colours. Regarding detail resolved at 5X: the Redmi is easily the winner (as you'd expect with so many more megapixels). I think more on this would be interesting. How about determining the maximum zoom factor on each phone, where detail can be resolved, and showing us the results? My guess is that for the quality conscious photographer, the Redmi will give excellent photos even at 4X magnification on its main 108mp camera, whilst the I12 only manages decent quality at 2X. Regarding video use: again, on account of better colour accuracy, I preferred the Redmi, despite no IS. For important videos, where zooming is involved, my phone would be tripod mounted anyway, so whilst IS is very useful in some situations, I don't think it's an essential 'must have' feature for video use. For decent stills, when zooming in, it might be useful when you're not specifically out taking photos, and happen to spot something of interest, but the fast shutter speed deployed often means camera shake isn't much of problem, even without IS.
What this proves is you don't need a flagship for a good camera anymore. As a guy who's always had flagships in the past and consider myself as a tech guy, I think my next phone will be a mid range phone. They do everything a flagship does basically with no drawbacks. I mean you still get a headphone jack too

Thanks for the video Alex. I have to agree with you on all points. Considering the difference in price between one and the other, the Xiaomi is providing amazing value here, hands down. The difference is seen more in video; if for a second we ignore the fact that the Xiaomi cannot do the higher resolutions with stabilization, quality does also suffer at the same resolutions, both from a picture and especiall sound, which is more "muffled". Still, thumbs up for the Redmi. There is so much potential here; how many other iterations before the next Xiaomi device exceeds its current limitations? Probably before the new iPhone comes out for sure, at the rates they push new devices!

Obviously OIS helps a lot and we can see at night, where even at 1080p stabilized, the Xiaomi shakes like crazy. But in still pictures, the 108MP sensor by Samsung is quite decent. if you don't want to spend a fortune in a phone, at around 200€/$ that's a bargain. But hopefully Xiaomi will release some software updates in order to give EIS at every resolution.
The Redmi is insanely good with gcam installed on it. Like its way WAAAAAAAAAY better. I have 8.1 installed on mine (with jpeg compression set at 100 / noise reduction at 0 / sharpness at 1 / saturation at 1 / hdr frames at 48) and it's pretty gnarly how well the camera hardware in this phone responds to it. Every lens has all features working properly, including night sight and hdr+ on all lenses. PLUS for some strange reason it allows you to film 16x9 4k video with the macro and wide angle lenses too. It's obviously interpolating it on the macro lens but it looks fucking stunning, pardon my french hahaha

I want to buy the redmi note 10 pro but idk if I should I'm still hesitante. Is it worth it? I mean I like everything it offers but the cameras I'm not sure if I should take the risk and buy it, I take pictures a lot especially selfies. What do u guys think I should do?
The best review i had ever seen in my life beat anaylsis i give 10 out of 10.
5:33 man you even ran to show us those phones performance. That is what I call commitment.
haha, I don't run very ofthen
@@RedskullPro no worries me neither lol
I can't wait to show this to the iPhone users as I'm using the Note 10 pro right now 😂
hahaha
Lmao 😂
That’s what I was looking for. I have an iPhone 12 but wanting to move back to xiaomi
Wow, Thats surprising. How note 10 pro keeps up with iphone. Iphone have some issues with lens flare always
@@delpinsky you can get a gimbal for like $40 in aliexpress if you want to shoot in 4k with Xiaomi.
@@SapiaNt0mata Clearly, if you want to save on a smartphone, it's the only way to go.
Good review! regards from Spain !
Hey, thanks!
How to install gcam?
Hey, what port of the gcam do you use ? Thanks.
Love your videos and especially your accent. By the way, what smartwatch are you wearing?
Hey, This is the Huawei watch gt 2 pro
Accordingly when we compare the prices of both the phones the Redmi wins.💖😇👍🏻
Which is better value Redmi note 10 pro or mi 10t prom

Should I get the Poco x3 pro or Xiaomi redmi note 10 pro?
I would get the note 10 pro because it has a better screen
Seems like a good phone for a parent to learn about photo/video on the go. Decent enough for daytime use + good quality screen/high refresh rate, good soc for anything outside "wantmaxfpsbrbr".
This is a comparison I didnt expect. Thanks for making this video.
Thanks for stopping by!
Wow😃, nice performance for Xiaomi
6:44 Can you tell me what was the real life color of the attached container? *Orange or Red or none?*
I would guess it is red.
Love from Bangladesh comrade
Redmi note 10 pro is surprisingly good given its price. Good job Xiaomi
That was an excellent, comprehensive summary
Impressive how the Xiaomi keeps up with the iPhone in still pictures. Nice comparison.
Yeah, and the xiaomi is 3 times cheaper. Thanks for watching!
@@RedskullPro Too bad it's not sold in my region. I always recommend Xiaomi phones to people on a budget but they're not sold here. They'd make a huge profit if they sold to Africa.
Interesting and well-conducted comparison! In my eyes, Iphone's pictures are better, sharper and have better colors. Xiamoi's pictures look washed out. The sound from the Iphone is also clearer. But given the price difference, maybe it's not so strange?
yes
i have the the meizu 16th. I thinking of buying the note 10 pro also because of the 120hz amoled display and the 108 mp camera which seems great for me as a photographer. I was also missing an sd card slot with my meizu 16h Do you think its a good upgrade when getting the xiaomi 10pro ? Other than that, grat comparison . Love it!
Do it

To the people who are complaining about the performance/camera of Redmi phones, keep in mind that this phone comes under $300 dollars.
In my country 64 gb variant of both phones are priced at $1145 and $260 .
Yeah, the price has to be taken in consideration
The crapsung A-series killer and the upcoming A52 & A72 killer its just realeased recently lol 😂
The a72 is better overall except for the price.
Lol the only thing Xicrap can kill is Samsung's cheap phones, cause Samsung flagships continue to be the best phones in the world. Not even iPhone can beat them.
Samsung > Apple >>>>> Xiwhatever the name is
I'd never own a Xicrap even for free. I'd rather get an iPhone.
@@SeroxMorales Damn.... Chill bro. 🤣 We know how much better samsung is compared to xiaomi. The a50 series has been topping the best selling android smartphone since 2019 and there's no exception for the a52. The a52 has better cameras with OIS, 3 years software support, ip67, better 120hz SAMOLED display, 5G, 256GB internal storage and more.
Xiaomi only has the upper hand in pricing but still can't beat the sales from samsung.
@@johnsecret1318 yep. 👍🏻
good job man. I am at the crossroads now as to whether I should move from my Redmi ecosystem to the apple. most of the videos on my channel was shot with my Xiaomi Redmi Note 7
For video an iPhone will do better. Even an iPhone 11 would be a great camera for filming video
