@LaughIn - Thank You So Much for sending me that. It makes me Happy. Desi Arnaz was a Man of True Talent & I've been a Fan of his since I was in my teens & I'm 49 years old & I'm still a Fan of his & always will be. 👍🏻🪙🪙🪙👍🏻
Absolutely loved seeing all these clips. I had only ever seen the Babalu one. It's so rare getting any good footage of him post ILL. What a blast though. Looks like he was a lot of fun. I wonder what his wife Edie thought of the Lucy jokes 😅 they're were all friends but still interesting lol
"Laugh-in" was on Monday nights opposite "Here's Lucy," and often Arte Johnson as the German soldier ended the show by saying "Good night, Lucy." They should have had Desi do it this time.
@LaughIn yes indeed, they started in 1967 until 1974 that NBC have run out of ideas 💡 and they having some low ratings on the show to be end up in parodies and need more excellent entertaining and more less violent scenes and more of silly content to actors who done splendid but underrated acting. But I still wish NBC would've continued on until late 1980s. I'm pretty real sure that all of those clothes from the 60s and 70s were a spiritual gifts from the decade that brought inspiration like my mom and dad born in 1960s and 1970s.
Desi was funnier without Lucy than I expected him to be. I laughed out loud at the horse racing joke; it was something about his delivery. I know I saw this back in the day, but I was maybe 10, so it didn't have the same inpact. I was 12 according to IMDb; it aired Nov. 1970.

Desi Arnaz was a true pioneer in television- as well as in the Latino community!
He really was, behind-the-scenes and in front of the camera!

Sept 2024 - Desi Arnaz was awesome! Funny! Great entertainer. And helped get Star Trek - the original series on the air!

Seventies fashion is perhaps best left in the 70s 😅
How ‘70’s! Can anyone believe that was considered “cool” back then!?!
Wolfgang, I'm home!!
I was not expecting that hot dog stand joke!
And "Herb Albert has a lot of brass!" Albert?

@LaughIn I wish that NBC would've continued this show on until late 1980's.

Lucy and his movie the longest trailer is hilarious.
I watch every time it is on. I love piccalilli!
There won't be another Rowan and Martin Laugh In Sock It To Me and also there won't be another Desi Arnaz.
He was one-of-a-kind, for sure!
