OMG! I made several kaleidocycles after the CBG article and initial RUclips video - had to watch how a paper version was made to finalize assembly. The butterfly technique looks sooo much easier. I made a podcast bead and now will be making the advanced version kaleidocycle. I’m excited to start beading this new form. Thank you for the constant inspiration!!!!
This is just the start of a weeklong video exploration of how to make the elements shown here, and different ways to join them into turning toys, Machines of creation. Please stay tuned!
I'm watching slack-jawed and dumbfounded. I just watched your videos on how to make a warped square and hexagon and triangles. Those looked easy. Now that I see what they do, I think I ought not be watching at bed time, when my brain is already fried. LOL! I'll watch the series when I'm better rested. Ha ha!
Wow I thought a warped (warpable) square was fun, but a hollow hexagon ! And the BatCycles should be in a museum (the kind where kids get to touch and play) Thanks for all the work and sharing with us.
Where can I find how to join the triangles. Don’t know where to put the joining beads. Are there 2 types of joining for each. Pix seem to show 2 matching trangles perminantly joined. Then extra rows joining to make 4sided pyagmid. Can’t find specific direction for jellyroll or other joining.

It's a Jellyfish net, actually, for the Kaleidocycle (I accidentally said butterfly) but the Butterflies make BATCYCLES. Which are fantastic.

Is there a book? I remember buying it in advance.
We do have a new book coming out soon, the CGB Pattern Book. This is one of the final open source BeadALongs before we publish.

Why is the audio so low? I have my speakers at 100% and I can barely hear you.
Sorry! It was a fluke on this one, I think.
es ist soooo schade, dass es für mich kaum zu verstehen ist. eine Übersetzung gibt es da ja wohl nicht
