Re: the unlabeled paper samples: the barcode numbers will correspond to the product numbers on your invoice! I just keep my invoices with the samples for now, I haven't bothered writing the details on the papers yet. I do wonder which side is supposed to the front vs the back side of a lot of my paper samples, though... Oh, you're one of very few people I've seen with the Paul Rubens gem set! I didn't really care for the palette, a lot of the little pearls were loose and once opened they never closed properly again (I got both the pink and the blue, because I have impulse control issues 😂). I ended up taking the whole thing apart and breaking out the little pans. Unfortunately they're not magnetic and there's a hole in the bottom of them, so I'll have to get some little magnets to glue on before I can stick them in my FCLUB palette... I like the paints well enough, they're a good value paint I think. Not quite at the same level as the fancier paints, but also not at the same price level so 🤷♀️ I've got both the Prima/Watercolor Confections and White Nights pastels and I by far prefer the White Nights. They just feel creamier and more lush, somehow. They're more satisfying to paint with, for me. I've not tried the Derwent ones, but honestly I'm so happy with the White Nights that I don't really feel a need to try anything else right now. Are those Etsy palettes from Like Palitra? I've got their colour wheel palette, I want to get so much from their shop!
I luv bockingford watercolor paper! It’s one of my favs. I luv their embossed image on the pages too, of the single sheets. It’s so beautiful and classy to me. The granulation of the schmincke watercolor paints were beautiful and neat. I especially love my Daniel Smith Genuine watercolors for that reason exact reason. I just love the look and texture and range of tones within one granulated pigment. Daniel Smith is my fav. brand for granulation, it has to say Genuine in the color tube paint name; that’s how u know those are the granulation pigments. Not all Daniel Smith paints have are granulated, but all of them are glorious regardless. Thank you for always sharing your wonderful hauls. You always find great things.🙏🏻🤗
It's somewhat ironic that I sat here painting with your gorgeous hand made watercolour shimmer and sparkle paints whilst watching you get excited opening and swatching out shimmer and sparkle paints from other commercial makers. That wooden pallet is drop-dead gorgeous. And those granulating paints are beautiful. I looked at those. Serious investment. I was just window shopping though. The grey one towards the end, splits out into 2 colours and is all you will ever need again for painting rocks. It made the swatch paper look like the textured surface of a rock.
Yep it does, Sue and sometimes I think it looks like a leather effect. It's the Cotman watercolor paper. Not the best quality and not great to work with but the texture is just gorgeous. Perfect for showing granulation. I noticed yesterday on Jacksons that those 15ml tubes of the granulation paint are on promotion. Only £11. They were £15-£16 when I bought them.
Ugh, I shouldn't watch haul videos.. I have so many art supplies I dont need more but here I am making a list based on your haul.. haha! It just gets me excited.. can you relate? Enjoy your new stash!

I'm not sure if you remember me, but we were going to do a sticker trade back in August of last year, along with a culture-trade. I still have the prismacolor watercolor pencils that you said you wanted, unopened. I wanted to say that I think you should make that little cactus painting you did into stickers and do a couple more like it, just little plant paintings. I remember you said in one of your vlogs that you wanted to have little stickers to give away as freebies in the orders, so I figured you can use those! I would buy the paints just to collect your stickers. Your art is so beautiful! Im hoping we can start back where we left off in the sticker trade. I understand you're super busy. I just love the idea of giving you stickers! I am back to working so don't worry about me not being able to afford shipping or anything. I haven't gotten around to making any stickers as I'm still being kept busy with the paint orders, my normal job, and trying to get videos made for RUclips. So I don't have any spare time to do a collab at the moment and I don't want to commit to something as I might not be able to find the time to do it. But I will let you know if I change my mind and thanks for the offer. Also, I do have the prismacolor watercolor pencils now. I managed to get hold of some from Amazon. 😀
