    How I wish more architects are employed in the government so houses like this are adapted especially for those in government funded housing. More than the innovations and aesthetics, you'll instantly know that the house is designed in aide for one of the common housing problems of low-income Filipinos. Side note, *hoping a Structural Engineer can comment on how to strengthen the structural integrity of this house*

      Agree, especially in terms of Urban Planning sayang lang yung proposed ni Ar. Palafox na urblan plan for the metro manila noon dinesregard lang ng government, na prevent sana yung ganitong kalalang flood all throughout luzon since continous ang project na icover ang buong luzon.

      Government doesn't really give much priority to architecture especially in socialized housing. Kulang ang suporta ika-nga, sa dami pa ng housing backlogs at pagcut ng budget sa housing agencies. Mukhang malabo-labo pa lalo pa ngayon na nagkapandemic. Ang admin rin ngayon intellegent funds ang priority.

    This is an interesting design sir Llyan, though might I recommend polyurethane expansion foam in between the walls and ceiling for insulation. Because we live in a tropical country and the walls of the shipping containers are made of Corten Steel which absorbs and conduct heat from the sun in which would make the inside of the house more of a human sized oven. Adding insulation can greatly reduce heat coming from the walls and roof on summer days. But overall, that's one heck of a well-designed stormproof house! Well done.

    • @ziggarillo
      @ziggarillo 2 года назад

      This is of course true.The more efficient approach is to design and build a well ventilated and insulated structure that can be clad to look like a container (if that is the look you're after) Using "container like" cladding as typhoon proof shutters.

It's also a reflective color. Kaya ang color ng lines sa Highways are yellow, pansinin niyo din sa mga humps sa inyo 😘

    As an Australian, and Engineer, my ONLY comment is please try ENGLISH, YOU WILL GET ALOT FURTHER IN YOUR INTERESTS. Your video is full of info, and i congratulate you on that. As a professional, we always learn, no matter how old we are. I live in Masbate provincial, and trying to get skilled workers to try different things is a very big challenge. I would appreciate one on one contact, to expand not only your interests, but mine also. I am trying so hard to teach these workers better ways, but its so difficult. so yes, congrats on this vid, and i look forward to contact. Thnks

    In my opinion, ang alulod ay tubo (round or rectangular tube) na dinadaluyan ng tubig pababa. Samantalang ang nasa bubungan ng bahay na inaagusan ng tubig padausdos, mapamaliit o malaki, ay pansol (aside from the meaning of spring water o bukal; batis).
    I like your creativity or self-reliant project. Awesome! Stay safe, and God bless you, Oliver Austria.

    Or else, maglalagay na lng po ng separate shipping container next to the house where we can put the car and lift it up in case of flood.
    Pwede cguro un 🤔🤔🤔
    Overall, your initiate ideas are brilliant 👌🏻😍🤩
