Please share the excel sheet's for practicing purposes. Thank you
Hi Syed. Can you please share the Excel sheet that you're using in the videos. Thank you
You calculated only frictional head ,why you are not add vertical head ,for every 10 meter vertical height you have to add 1 bar pressure lose rite?? please explain
Excellent training video...Would love to know how you calculated the values in the heat loss table in sheet 2, and the assumptions that you made when calculating those values.
Syed, you are doing a great Job. your tutorial is great. However, the diagram of the hot water recirculation system. If you can make the excel diagram to be big i.e full screen it will be great. thank you
Another question. I am wondering why you are adding the recirculation heat loss to the supply line to the furthest fixture heat loss to calculate flow rate? All of the training I have reviewed on this topic (mostly from pump vendors) for calculating the pump GPM only considers the hot water supply piping heat loss. The recirc return piping is never included in this calculation?
Ok...I figured it out...You are calculating the accumulative recirculation flow back to the heater in order to determine recirculation pipe sizes...
Very useful topic that is sir.
Sir in India most of project have OVERHEADED TANK then how to calculate recirculation hot water pipe size from remote fixture to center heater which is fitted in top floor or roof.please make a video for overheaded tank hot water recirculation pipe sizing.SIR
The first pipe sizes are trial pipe size ? and later we are calculating the actual right??
Yes
Amazing explanation Sir
Very useful videos sir..thanks for uploading keep doing more videos on PLUMBING..and upload excel sheet link to download excel sheet
Sir pls do more videos on plumbing design
Sure I will make more videos
Nice video
Where can I find Equations 11-24 and 11-26? Thanks I have others formulas but would like to use yours
Can you produce a video regarding the pressure regulating method when the cold and hot water system integrated together as the cold and hot water pressure have to be same at the outlet
That's really helpful. Thank you for one more amazing video
Nice and very helpful kindly share excel sheet of this
Thanks thats good stuff. Just one thing, the imperial fractions like (3/4") is pronounced Three Quarters. I thought to share this with you. Keep it up
Nice explanation
Will be please tell me what will be the piping heat loss value in case of pvc pipe?
Avoid PVC pipes for hot water System, Its not recommended
@@ayra._.sultan thanks
In the last of your Circulating pipes calculation....
I think there is no need to keep the same size of main pipe and riser pipe due to addition of previous gpm value...
The riser pipe will be according to riser pipes GPM seperately
And as more risers will be getting added in Main pipe..hence then main pipe's size will be increasing only as gpm also increase...
But you have taken riser pipe and main pipe size same...
Please correct me if i am missing something...
Here's what you were missing...He sized all of the risers at 3/4". The recirculation pipe sizing he is doing is only for the main header bringing the accumulative return flow back to the heater. Obviously it starts small at 3/4" and grows as the flow rate grows towards the heater.
Sir please upload EXCEL sheet..
where the excel sheet?
