Hey buddy, dude you nailed this one. First- Happy anniversary, truly blessed. Second, this is the type of content I want to do on my channel for the simple fact that everything doesn't have to be "overland" driven. Finding a home base for a day or two then traveling around makes for a wonderful time for both the hubby and wifey especially when the wifey doesn't care so much for tents and stuff(talkin about mine). This is a great compromise for both parties and allows more 1:1 time visiting local areas, small towns, and scenic stuff that's often overlooked when traveling from point A to point B. Also, I'm still dealing with a crazy thing called Roemheld Syndrome which is gastric induced heart skips that can sometimes bounce into Afib. I have to be somewhat near civilization because at any moment "I simply MUST GO" to the ER to either be medicated back into normal heart rhythm or they have to put me down and "Zap me with the paddles". Kind of a big nuisance problem but hoping to control the digestion better as I learn more about this condition and hope to get back to being comfortable with getting further out. Oh, great drone shots especially that parallax move at the ridge. Nice!
Thank you so much. That really means a lot. I’m praying for you buddy. I hope you get things figured out medically and you get out more and get to more places!
I have marked this video so that my wife and I can stay at the treehouse when we make it back home next April timeframe. Man, I am already travel across the US to go back home again.
Haha. Sometimes the places closer to home are better. 🤷♂️. But I think you’ll enjoy it. Going during the fall made it way better in my opinion. Just made the scenery that much better.
I really enjoyed this video. Now I'm looking into Airbnb. :-) I'm curious if you ever made it to the Boat Ramp? (It's past the Jump off Rock overlook) You sure did pick the perfect color weekend to get these pictures, they're awesome. Congrat's on the 10k btw!
What a cool little cabin! Loved this episode Matt!
Thanks man! I really appreciate that!
On another note....You are doing an awesome homework looking for the perfect music for the videos.... Loving it brother.
Thank you!! It’s harder than people think to find good fitting music.
Great video!!! This was such a fun trip and absolutely beautiful surroundings. Your drone footage was stellar!
Thank you! 😘
Great getaway for sure, and Happy Anniversary to you and your wife my friend, may God bless you both with many more to come!!
