But this is the cleaning I try to get done every night and I certainly feel WONDERFUL when I get it done! ❤️

You can use old newspapers or those free paper magazines at the store to clean your windows. ☺

This is your "neighbor" who lives North of Atlanta, up in the mountains. Yes, I watched your video from start to finish & I it was very interesting & motivating. I have hardwood floors downstairs & usually mop once a week...dirty mop water goes outside because we have a septic system & I don't want any problems if I can help it. Your home looked so nice & clean & neat. Your hard work paid off for sure! God bless you & your family.
I think your area with your table would look so cute with grey and black checkered valances or grey with black country stars on your windows. But your house is beautiful!
Hey! Love watching your videos for inspiration! Watching from all the way in Germany ❤️ husband is stationed here till 2021.
Tip for the dishwasher... run a cleaning cycle with a measuring cup with about a cup of distilled white vinegar in the top rack and sprinkle baking soda in the bottom of the dishwasher and run thru a hot cycle. I do this with ours when I notice a soapy buildup.

Hi Joanna! About your dishwasher, try pulling out the filter in the middle at the bottom and washing it too. That helped my dishwasher and it took me a long time to realize I could take the filter out and wash it. Great video! Actually love your videos. This was an older one though so I hope you catch my comment 😊💜

I use paper towels to clean my windows and I mop high traffic areas daily to every other day and the rest once or twice a week I dump my mop water in the toilet most of the time before I clean it I did throw it outside but there’s a lot of stray cats and dogs in our area so I’m always afraid they will get in it. I don’t comment much but I always watch your whole video. Hope you have a great week

I love that raised ceiling above your table. Gorgeous!! And i need that duster. I had a subscriber recommend it to me recently. I don’t like microfiber on windows either. Get ecloths for windows. They are amazing!! My dishwasher is awful too. Use liquid instead of pods? I don’t know. I am too embarrassed to tell you how often i mop. 😆 i mix my mop water in my “dirty” sink as i call it. Love your tips!!! Your amazing!!!! I watched to the end!!! Love you!
I know what you mean about afterdark cleaning. I am a night owl so I can usually dance thru my cleaning in the evening. I dont have littles but I sure do enjoy the quiet and the cool night air feels so great after a clean up!
Great video as always ☺️ my grandma used to use vinegar and newspaper she said her windows always looked shiny (i would but then i cant really stand the smell of the vinegar) i use the minky M cloth it was off amazon and honestly i would never use anything else now, it is amazing and doesnt leave any dust particles behind 👍🏼 i love how you think the same i am more happy and really enjoy wakening up going to get a coffee and sitting in the morning with a clean and tidy kitchen and livingroom its set your day off in the right direction!! thanks again for the motivation 🥰
I'm back 🥰 I had to come to you first for motivation!! I cooked for church's potluck and kitchen is a DMZ now. 😳 I love cleaning at night too, for me it's less interruptions even from husband and having to stop and make meals etc. I just can't do loud things sharing a house. (duplex) I do dishes and laundry and organizing of papers. Moping is just swiffering the tiny kitchen and bathroom and steps.. takes 5 minutes. They are done as needed (trying to get better). 🤭 ...

Watched to the end! Loved this video!! I usually mop once a week but I vacuum everyday. I dump my mop water in my driveway (I’m sure that’s weird but it’s gravel). I love waking up to a clean house (although not this morning... I was totally lazy last night and didn’t clean) And I’m a list person as well!! My husband makes fun of all my lists lol but they keep me motivated and like you said feeling more productive. Feels so good to mark items off as I finish them!

Good morning my sweet friend. Love waking up on Sundays to some great motivation. My nighttime routine I guess you could call it is very similar to yours. I agree, waking up to a clean house is the best feeling. It's one less thing us mom's need to worry about in the am when it's busy. I usually mop 2 twice a week, but I'm sure alot of people do it more often depending on the amount of kids and traffic in the house. I really want to get a spin mop but I only have the kitchen floor that needs mopping, I dump my mop water down the toilet. As always your house is so darn beautiful and you got it done with ease. New to your channel and I love watching you organize and clean! Much needed motivation! I don’t like using micro fibers on my windows or mirrors either cause it streaks and doesn’t dry nicely, I started cutting up old stain towels or hand towels and using that on my glass instead. It works so great and you wash them and don’t have to worry about wasting the paper towels. Keep up the great work! ❤️
For the first couple of seconds of you cleaning the table, I thought you sprayed it and then started wiping it down with just your hand, then I seen it in your hand! 😂

I have a norwex window cloth and its perfect for windows and mirrors. You just get it wet with water. I love it but shhh 🤫 I use paper towels too 😂 I’m the exact same way about lists. Sometimes I dump my water outside and sometimes in the sink. I love waking up to a clean house because I work outside the home so its less stressful to come home to. Always watch to the end lol. I told Lynn white to watch uour videos I said you guys are similar and she said you were friends lol of course you are haha!

Good morning sunshine 🌞 UGH I mop every few days only because I hate sweeping our stupid floors!!! We have unsealed stone floors in the kitchen and a wierd rock floor in the bathroom so it's uneven and so hard to sweep. When I do mop I dump my water on the grass.

I use microfiber rags from dollar tree on my windows and they work great as long as I keep them relatively dry so doing my whole house I might use two or three rags instead of one.
I dump my floor cleaning water outside, too. I make lists, too. I like marking those things off. Lol

You manage to work hardcore - beginning of the video to the end. No slowing down. That is very motivating to me. I also take my mop water outside to dump because if I do it in the sink or tub, I won't use either until they have been SCRUBBED AND DISINFECTED. Just a mental thing I guess. For myself I use a “two-paper towel method” I use the same two towels for all the windows. The first one is the “wet towel” that does the cleaning can be re-used for every window. The second towel is the “dry towel” which I basically use until it gets too wet than that becomes my wet towel and I get another to dry the window.
It’s the same method I use to dry my freshly cleaned car 😎

I use one "ruff" cloth to wet and clean then a fine to dry off and it get spotless :)
I mop once a week & I also dump the water outside! I’m also a list maker. I have a list for everything. The notepad is full of lists & I have a little notebook I keep in my purse. 🤷🏻♀️ there’s just so much relief marking things off 😅
I agree about the paper towels. I don't use my micro fiber cloths on glass. They just don't do well at all. RTR!

I mop daily but we do have a dog. I have a similar routine but I do mine in the morning before work so I can come home to a clean house. I use vinegar and little fairy liquid on my windows then use a karcher- no drips or streaks. Love the videos x

Putting the bowls up top with the cups, makes a huge difference. I used to put bowls on the bottom too and it cleaned so much better with the bowls on top.
Btw I love your channel I recently started watching your channel and ever sense I started watching your channel you’ve motivated me so much too clean my house. Being a mom of too under 1, I have no energy by the time the kids are asleep or napping.

The type you use for cars work great on windows but now I use e-cloth. Love e-cloth for windows - just water!

@@JoannaThornton I read you are also ordering Norwex cloths. They are both the same quality product (you can do your own independent research to learn this). However, e-cloth is a fraction of the cost because they are not sold via MLM! My cousin, a chemist, says one must always wash their cloth after each use (regardless of brand) that they use to wipe down kitchens or bathrooms regardless of claims to do otherwise. Just use free and clear detergent, no fabric softener and do not put them in the dryer (just hang dry). My e-cloths are several years old and still work as well as they did the day I got them. Good luck!

I purchased my window and glass microfiber E-cloth I really like it no streaks and you just use water... A suggestion I seen you washing dishes and just added soap to your Thermo cup To cleaning inside use a baby bottle brush 🤗 I pour my mop water down the toilet.

We have no kids or pets and we both work away from home 10 hours a day, so... I mop maybe twice a year.. 😁 The rest of the time I just vacuum and run a wet swiffer mop around the areas under the cabinets etc occasionally.
I use paper towels for everything they clean better and they’re more sanitary 💁🏼♀️ I mop once but only have a dog no kids LOL 😂

Newspapers are the best for cleaning windows. I alternate mopping upstairs and downstairs, getting both once a week.

Hi Joanna!! Another perfect video!! I heard when you mentioned the “hate” for using the paper towels which made me sad! You don’t deserve any of that!!! So I recycle my paper towels after I use them. I am not talking about the really dirty ones, but when I clean windows or countertops, they are basically just wet! So I just wanted to mention that for you!!! LOVE!!

I love your channel! That farmhouse ceiling in your dining room is gorgeous! I love your style. Btw, I got that long dusting stick from amazon. Love it! We have high ceilings with a light in the foyer and the dust was so irritating to me but that stick....game changer! 😉it’s the little things...lol
Try e-cloth polishing clothes they are game changers. You can use a warm wet microfiber and then dry with the polishing cloth to get a clean streak free shine. I got mine from Amazon. They work great on stainless steel too.
You can use waffle towels (the ones with the square indents) instead of microfiber towels on windows and glass, they work much better.

You should get one of those Rumba Vacs and schedule it to clean your floors so you. Don’t have to. Do you have one of those Spin Mops? I really want one. I love making list as well, it’s such a good feeling to look at the list and see it crossed off.

Enjoyed you video Joanna as always. I sometimes use a small window squeegee to clean the windows or newspaper but you have to wash your hands after they end up black from the print LOL 😂❤
