People seem to forget that Jasta has always had a soft spot for Death Metal, and has always given unknown, & upcoming Death Metal acts promotions.

I mean we can all have opinions. I came in without knowing about the guest vocals. I don't know all that much about this band, but to my experience, they're deathgrind. This definitely didn't really feel as heavy as "Dogs always bite...", It was closer to plain grindcore
Jamey's voice isn't aggressive enough for this stuff.

I really enjoy this label. Benighted is my favorite band. Its been a while since I found a wee metal band I actually enjoy. Not just like 1 aong, multiple songs. This brutality helps with the sting of life. Mental disorders and neuroses weigh us down, but it's not us. Implore the Negative. It will help you find out how strong you can be. Thanks Season of Mist. Real wee metal!!!!
Benighted has always released very fun, very solid albums, and if this song is anything to go by, the next one will be fucking great too!

C'est un style qui a vocation à rester plus ou moins underground, surtout le metal "extrême" (qu'on me sorte pas "oui mais Metallica ils ont fait des tubes", c'est pas parce que t'aimes bien Nothing Else Matters que tu vas kiffer le grindcore). Blc de la plèbe et de ses goûts de chiottes, grand bien lui fasse si elle s'enjaille sur Aya Nakamura.

Jasta sounds quite thrown in there and forced here, but maybe with the album as a whole, this song might come out as a refreshing wild card of a song.

Agreed. The constant change in contrast seems forced. Jastas vocals might have worked better in a bridge or something, perhaps leading to the ending of the song, but not like this in my opinion. It's kinda distractive, jumping from lighter vocals to extreme vocals constantly and going back and forth is just.. I don't know, weary?

Good as it gets. Unfortunately, No lips, no kiss! I’d be glad to hear Jasta with Terror or The Acacia Strain (like a Beast, from wormwood), not Benighted.
As for an experiment I can appreciate the guest vocals, but no more please. Musically, insane en awesome song, I didn’t expext anything else for Benighted🤟🏻

Je préfère ce morceau au premier extrait Brutus qui s'apparente à une surenchère de violence, de vitesse et de brutalité musicale. Dans Implore The Negative, les riffs sont davantage travaillés et la batterie variée, très bon morceau...même si mon album préféré est et restera Identisick !!!

Their first single was way more superior on so many levels, but perhaps on the full listening experience, this single may have another impact on the listener. As a standalone, this one is weak from my humble opinion. James Jesta sounds forced in on this song, and it lacks some technicality, agression and more bone-smashing riffs. But i'm still really excited for the album when it comes out!
They should have saved him for like a pre breakdown or something.
Even though I like the first hatebreed ep and I also love their first full-lenght I have to say that Benighted is way above Jastas league. I know that this is not Jastas genre but his vocals just sound too mediocre for this kind of music.
Well yeah but that's most hardcore vocalists lol. They don't scream, they shout. It's a very limited genre so that's the first problem lol.
They could've got the dude from Ringworm instead. He actually does have a scream sound to his.

Danny Dircio Gotcha. Never been a big fan of HC, nothing against it, and if more people listen to Benighted due to him being on this song, even better.
