- Took a little break for a while, irl has been super hectic lately. But I'm back for the end of the season. Gotta finish getting glad and see if I can scrape by shuffle r1.

Man I got up to #30 on ret solo and tanked I had a lot of “bad lobbies fir ret” other player would say you played well just not lobby for ret. What’s your thoughts on that? My mindset is I could have always played better or different to win the rounds
@@JeffBeesonDrums there are definitely just bad lobbies. There are definitely things you can do to get at least a few round wins even in really bad lobbies tho. In those lobbies you gotta realize you can’t win so you just gotta know which matchups you have a chance in and your win con. And sometimes you can pull out a miracle and still win the lobby. But don’t get discouraged even if you lose or even go on a losing streak. You sometimes just need a mental reset and get back to it.

@@JeffBeesonDrums Yeah right before this game I went 1-5. There are ups and downs to shuffle. Just need to try and find a way for you to be as consistent as possible and you'll climb.
@@Yuouji you are right, the mindset is very important, but once you get a bad mmr after a losing streak, its hard to fix your mmr again... i had that problem in season2. even with 5-1 i only got like 12 points plus... the mmr system is not rewarding in my opinion and demoatives.
How do you play against affli? What talents do you take? This is the biggest problem for me in solo
@@Scythianf aff is super hard for ret in shuffle. For the most part you only wanna kill it if you have a warrior, hunter, or assa on your team. Outside of those you really only wanna kill them in deep dampening since they’re a lot squishier. Other than that try and look for off kicks whenever you can into them, other than that just play normally. Your talents don’t really change when playing against them.
@@Yuouji Judgment of pure against what classes do you take? I used to play with ground against mages and it was difficult for me until I replaced it with pure and the game became much easier
@@Scythianf I personally never play it, I think most situations you would play it magic bop is just better. But other rets like to play it in sp's and ele's.

Kinda mainly up to preference, you can go for a more haste build like me, where you shoot for 25% haste, you can go pve gear+ vers, or just full on mastery build. All are good.
