You’re doing a great job as is Eddie! I was going to comment on the last video stating how impress I was with how comfortable you’ve become being in the videos! Keep you doing you Ed! Enjoy your holiday from a holiday 😜
My brother did his pilot training in the Navy and also did his degree through the Navy. He became part of fleet air arm and did search and rescue based in Cornwall. He joined when he was about the same age as Eddie is now. Now retired from the Navy but whilst in the Navy also did his Private Pilots Licence in America where it was cheaper than in this country. He now is a Captain flying tourists across (and sometimes the Royal family) to The Scilly Isles (Cornwall) whilst also surfing most days in the summer as he still lives in Cornwall.
It’s nice to see Ed having involvement with the Chanel (it must be hard talking to a camera when your not used to it) also nice to see such a lovely father son relationship enjoying time together. Ed’s a lovely lad 😊
I've had a holiday home in rural Slovakia for 16 years, the country is absolutely stunning but gets overlooked in favour of it's neighbours. I've driven there from the UK plenty of times and you used to know when you'd crossed the border because the roads got suddenly worse, thankfully things have improved a little. Be aware that some Slovaks see driving as an extreme sport
We stayed in Haller camping in 2021, looks as though it’s had a makeover. Try the red bus hop on hop off round all main points of interest, The Most Beautiful Cafe in the World, hot pools etc, includes a trip on the Danube. Also see Memento Park on the outskirts, enormous statues and intrigue of the past, had good parking for larger vehicles. Enjoying your journey.
Thanks Steve and Ed, great you are both contributing to the vlogs. Ed could give an opinion on places and suitability for younger travelers. Jo in 🇫🇷 France
Many cheap and wonderful bars in Bratislava out of the tourist spots. Google cheap and quirky! We did the toilet bar converted from public toilets! It was brilliant! X
Nothing broadens the mind like travel. HK MALAYSIA AND THAILAND ive done all 3 and stunning. Take it in Ed ive done 58 countries and have a load of wonderful memories. Top ambitions their Eddie and good luck too you. A must is Alaska Bali and Singapore however be careful Singapore is seriously expensive.
We're really enjoying this excellent series of vlogs, Steve.Loving the variety between what I would call the Alan Whicker travel content and all the practical motorhome stuff-you strike just the righ balance between the two and deliver it all at a brisk pace- always interesting, never boring! brilliant, and thanks for the time and effort you put into it all. Hope you and Ed continue to enjoy your wonderful trip. Oh,where did you get your telescopic windscreen cleaning tool? Do you have a link? Need to get one of those. Don't miss the England game on Sunday!. Cheers!🍻🍻
@RoamingRadfords Thanks for this Steve: I spotted the Draper online, there aren't many of this type. Most seem to have the flat microfibre head, which are not particularly good for dirty windscreens, especially if they are coated in dead insects!. Will be ordering one. 👍
Hi, Steve enjoy your vlogs, yes I was in Bratislava on April 11,24, on a Avalon river cruise parked by bridge that had Space ship type restaurant, we started in Budapest, found beer cheap in Budapest and Bratislava We bought in small shops 4 pint cans for around 5 Euros, had i great trip ended up in Vishofen trip was 7 days think you should try
Steve, I feel for you with the warning lights - its nerve wracking and very stressful when you are so far from home. Just had to leave our Fiat based Adria 1,500 miles away in the north of Norway awaiting a low-loader to get it home with torque converter/clutch performance issues. Is yours manual or automatic and did you clear down the faults using your reader?
Great Vvlog guys, and getting times father and son, Ed good luck with your air-force, my hubby was in the uk air force and was based in Wales, St Athens...I think... he loved every minute of it, do you Ed do any light aircraft flying?, My hubby flew out od Denham areodrome, and was flying at lapwing flying club, in a PA28. love watching the english people following the England team around.... I suppose by now you will know that England just beat the Dutch 2-1 and are into the Euro 2024 final..... well I hope that I have spoilt it for you, but I think you would know as they played last night, early hours of our morning here in Australia..... Ed good luck and have so much fun on the holidays to Hong Kong and Maylasia....
We used to have a Tinter working for us and he did all our tinting. He’s left now though, but all our tinting film was for internal glass windows only.
Cheers for the quick reply, I'm trying to find someone who suits it on the outside as we've converted our old disabled school bus and we've blanked off one side so it would be a complete nightmare to try and do it on the inside lol Love your videos btw and where will you be watching England ( divert to Berlin maybe lol)
Contemplating starlink Steve (was thinking of netgear but want wifi in Scotland etc) where's the best place to buy one Steve? Lyndsy loving your natural hair colour looking forward to seeing you all meet up xx

@@lauras245 it was just an observation. People are struggling with the cost of living and it’s hard for people. I said I like the videos and am fortunate to be in a comfortable situation but I’m aware it’s different for others.

@@RoamingRadfords what you do is good and you are clearly successful. I can see how your channel has appeal and there is an element of escapism. Maybe I have to accept that for some fantasy I watch your channel but for ideas of where to go and what to do I watch others. You can’t really change anything because of the way you want to travel.
Hi Steve - I recall that you recently bought Ed a car which is equipped to be towed on an A frame. Since Ed is going to be in Asia for some of the holiday, can I ask why you didn’t bring the car along for use in Turkey
Chris I wouldn’t even consider towing the car to France, let alone all the way across Europe to Turkey, that’s not why we bought it. We just use Uber, it’s much easier.
We had similar problems after a dodgy road with our Ford. We lost the reversing camera and had warnings about the front camera not working. Bob checked the wiring record and both were on the same fuse. The fuse was changed and it corrected the issue. Ford later told us that if you have several things happen and they are on the same circuit its often a dodgy fuse connection. Worth knowing for any issues and a rough road certainly ties in with this theory. Enjoy your hols.
Steve, Just to let you know that the White Beers you are referring to Weizen Beers are actually Wheat Beers not to be confused with Weiss the German word for white. Always enjoy your Vlogs. Regards Jim
Thanks Jim. I always enjoy white beer and wheat beer, especially Hoegaarden. I just found that this Primator Weizen that I found is the best that I’ve tasted, even better than the Hoegaarden

It’s my Monzo app that I’m using. I simply spend the money on my Monzo card in the local currency and it shows me what that cost in GBP.
