Girly on the back of Tharizdun casting magic becoming the new villain
She casts dominate (whatever tharizdun is) and just commands him as her mount
Drow Basterd!
+Neptune Vasilias on a beholder? I doubt that highly....I really hope girly doesn't try that or to attack the beholder.
+Thrax Sablescales he is a spectator a beholder created by a magic user with 4 beholder eyestalks not true beholder
Raeven Durocher-Batley It's still very dangerous for one person like Gurley to attempt to attack.
the party: cam you can't bring girlie
the party 5min later: cam she's gonna come after you and it's all your fault for not taking her with you and you even pinkie promised
i know it is kind of randomly asking but does anyone know of a good website to stream newly released series online?

Awkward Dog Boner 3:47:40
The mushrooms glow eerily in the silent cavern. A hooded silouette is leaving the stone grove. It is smaller than a myconid and more dexterous than a duregar. It casts light on its small staff and proceeds to the temple of tharizdun. A voice booms in the magical darkness
"Who are you?"
The silouette replys
"I am Girly and I am here to take revenge on Cam Buckland"
It would be cool if girly would become some kind of cleric of Tharizdun if they don't come back for her.
Girlie will never know if the grass is green or indeed whether or not the air is clean
Or if there is a sweet lass by her side.
Dear god, so much stuff happened (SPOILERS IN THE TIME STAMPS)

Cool alternate Lolth origin and back story of the patron. Well done
//SPOILERS// the decision not to go back to talk to girly hurt me so much, all the possibilities! :'(
Jiutou would rather see another innocent victim of slavery stay in her world of pain and suffering than see her set free. The grand hypocrite reveals her true selfish nature once again....
If we are going to be spewing hypotheticals like her following to fight dragons, then we could also say WHAT IF she COULD have been taken to talisval to act on the council as a representative of the people in the underdark. Therefore strengthening the relations between surface dwellers and the races of the underdark. Stupid and reckless would be like setting fire to a crowded performance hall filled with innocent lives, but I digress...
Cam paid a heavy price for the dimitriv incident, and that was a broken sky operative that refused to leave his own burning house. That performance hall was filled with important council members and dawn republic leaders, yet no price was paid at all for endangering their lives.
Was the door not open to dimitriv as well? Desperate times do not call for desperate crimes, and good intentions don't justify the crime of setting a crowded building full of world leaders on fire. HEAT of the moment indeed...
I think she will be back and in a bad way.
59:00 Why did Duracell's return cause me to shed a tear?
Because Evandra is the best god.
U never know,
Because Avandra
Duracell is the main character of the Lightfall Saga.
no idea
Great events in this episode, but god damn did everybody turn their backs on Girlie. Cam made a promise to a young girl who managed to teach herself MAGIC out of nowhere, who was researching a stone-to-flesh spell that would aid a perhaps mighty cleric holding magical lore (possibly a scroll of Greater Resurrection?), and who had vitally assisted the group in getting their own scroll in the first place. The supposedly compassionate Elora shows no problem blowing off this promise, and Juitou, who should probably have certain feelings about abandoning a young girl among her previously violent oppressors, just shrugs and says "yeah but gotta go fast." I was actually worried that Avandra would have had second thoughts about helping Cam cast the scroll after breaking a promise in assisting Girlie towards reaching for her dreams of going to the surface.
Yeah that rankled a bit, the only character who seemed concerned with keeping their word to an npc who had assisted them was Cam the trickster, and the others all dismissed this as meaningless. But they’ll be the first ones to throw shade at him for not keeping his promises/being entirely stand up. Almost like because it didn’t matter to their direct goals it wasn’t worth their time. Hope they make this right, and that Cam isn’t the one who bears the brunt of the fallout for that un-heroic decision
It’s almost like they’ve never seen The Incredibles.
*Girly will remember this.

So, Cam tries to keep a promise, which may also connect to important people he needs to meet, and follows the "right" thing to do. Everyone else says "but we need to save Korac", and then Cam says "ok fine", and then they sit there and go "but that cleric in stone could be important". FFS stop being so inconsistent everyone. The characters act like Cam is a complete imbecile whilst all being absurdly hypocritical dipsticks.
1. Korac isnt in any direct danger atm
2. You have the scroll of greater restoration, so you already have the thing you could fix him with.
3. If Girly has learned stone to flesh she'd be an amazing ADDITION to the defenses of Talis'val.
4. If 3, Korac could help keep Girly safe, and she could become an important ally and liaison between the Duer'gar and Talis'val.
5. They could've told the Beholder they slayed the queen, and gotten more stuff. (though he was absolutely insane)
Instead they just jump back to "go" and ignore any and all possibilities.
BTW 2:27:35 "the breast alchemists" Im surprised no one questioned that.
The completely underestimate girly I think she is so much stronger then they think she is
NO!! how did you not go back for girlie, you're all terrible people, OMG whyeeee :(
Yes it was an asshole move to make a promise then break it not too long after making it . . . real trustworthy actions there . . . . the girls were kind of shitty to talk Cam out of keeping his promise and then Elora went a step further and made fun of Cam for doing the thing she talked him into doing
P.S. the girls (especially Elora) need to learn how to not be so afraid to take risks
Matt's getting much better at it, but I think it's mainly down to how much more experience Chris has in Dungeons and Dragons compared to the rest of them that he is a lot more comfortable with making more impacting decisions that maybe the others are more wary of.
Yeah this upset me greatly. I would have ignored the group and went to get girlie with or without them. I have little experience in DnD but i prefer to play a character to the fullest of who they are as a person.
Gotta love when DM's have conversations with themselves.
Dimetriev's death was more manslaughter, not murder, and he was hardly innocent. Did Cam burn him alive? Yes. Was it murder. No. I wish they'd stop calling him a murderer, he more committed gross negligence mans laughter due to serious recklessness. He never meant to hurt Dimetriev.
To be perfectly honest, I do get annoyed by how far the teasing of Cam goes. It is understandable for Trell to bring up the whole fire nonsense, it's in character as Trell is quite coldhearted, however Jiutou owes Cam a LIFE DEBT. I love Kim's portrayal of the character, but anytime she brings up Cam's crimes I cringe and, as Kim would put it, it 'totally breaks my immersion'. Jiutou is a fighter yes, and she is rash yes, but I have trouble believing someone who holds her own crimes with such shame (Her grief over how cruel she was before she died and was consequently resurrected) would poke so hard at Cam's crimes. Cam is imperfect yes, a total ass, and selfish at times, but this guy dropped all his own business instantly to save Jiutou, and feels guilt whenever he truly crosses a line.
However, I am not saying that they shouldn't tease Cam, it's hilarious, and part of the group dynamic. However, they shouldn't cut so deep, because with the exception of Trell, it's unbelievably cruel. I love these characters, and the players who created them, but these small little things make some sections of their videos unpleasant to watch due to the blatantly out of character actions. Then again... it's not like I'm going to stop watching these, they're ultimately a fun time overall, I just wish they could fix these kinds of minor issues so that it could be that much better.
+
who cares if he died he was a spy for a terrorist organization he deserved worse than asphyxiation
yeah i agree with you. Dimietriev was literally helping the broken sky. for all intents and purposes he was a bad guy. a very lovable character. but a bad guy none the less. even if he was only a pawn being manipulated and threatened into what he did. he had no back bone and sought his solution by being a coward. his death was regrettable. but by no mean's did cam murder him or try to kill him. cam is a reckless fool with low intelligence. it was manslaughter. group should go easy on cam. on top of that the party shouldn't even care about the killings. they have killed plenty. wether one is innocent or not is entirely dependent on perspective. i bet almost everyone they have killed had a family who would miss them. in their eyes. the hero's are the villains. trell however. should be pushed a little harder. and although Matt might feel bad. trell wouldn't give a shit. he did what he had to and in the same situation would do it again. Jiutou owe's the entire party her life and promised to always be there for them and protect them. wherever they lead her. aka life debt. elora is the most innocent one there. but even she isnt perfect. she hasn't resorted to peace talks for every encounter. she is chaotic good. she does what she think's is right regardless of what anyone else thinks. and that dosent mean she always makes the right decisions.
Acenet JT don't forget Jiutou nearly burned 100's of innocent people alive and she brags about setting the fires . . . they also gave Cam shit for upsetting Girlie after they convinced him to break his promise to her . . . IMO the girls (Jiutou and Elora) are so much worse than Cam . . . . Chaotic Good means you do what your conscience directs which could be you thinking stabbing a baby is the right thing . . . the "good" part is relative
I love how Barris' first combat roll is a nat 20 on a dragon :D
Cam. Cam. He's our man. If he can't, noone can. Gooooo, Buckland! :D
"Now this is a story all about how.
Jiutou cinched Cam's eyebrow.
And I'd like to take a minute
Just sit right there
I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called Talisvale
In west Araak born and raised
On the stage was where I spent most of my days
Performin' out maxin' stealin' all cool
And behaving like a complete fool
When a couple of broken sky who were up to no good
Started making trouble in my neighborhood
I got in one little fight and Trell went down
So I have to rush him back to town."
More I can't think of. Have fun (community/ Trott/ Mark/ Kati/ Kim/ Matt) adding to it and excuse my mistakes, rewrote it in the middle of the night.
DemTacs: I'm a yr late for genius work.
I would be so salty if the Cleric that had been turned to stone, could cast Greater Restoration. and if Gurlye could turn him back from stone!
Oh yeah,and I forgot...
BARRISBOIS!!
+Joe Weatherby Skulduggery Pleasant????
One of the scrolls that the stone cleric has is probably a greater restoration
I think about it sometimes, what if that cleric knew how to cast Greater Restoration? What if that scroll of Greater Restoration was actually HIS scroll and the Medusa stole it?
Chrysanthus They said Medusa took it from the ruined tower where the Cleric was. So he probably could cast it
"Fortune favors the bold." - RUN AWAAAAAAAY!!!
How is it possible for the tank of the party to not take the damage and let the squishy take it? She doesn't even try to save trell, she doesnt have to be scared in her animal form, she is made to take damage atm.
I really hate the way Elora was like "Oh we need to get to the surface to save Korak" but then "But you might really need to save that cleric" and then as soon as Trott makes up his mind to go to Girly, she's like "But we do need to save Korak" Kind of annoyed me, make up your mind!!!
agreed, he(cam) was ready to go see Gurly( I imagine it spelled that way), they talked him out of it, then he is ready to go see Korvak, then they act like they should go see Gurly, triggered me hard lol
She hoards all the gold too.
@@MurkyWaters677 It was agreed earlier that Elora should hold all the gold.
Then she made a comment, I can't remember exactly, about him leaving Girly and about the pinky promise, and like...you people talked him out if it don't make him feel bad about your choice. :/
Elora like a dumb hypocrite and Jiutouis as annoying as ever
Abandoning girlie and planned to run from a fight through metagaming. Mean and cowardly in one episode.
The situation with Girlie. Oh where do I begin to tear into this one, because it was entirely peer pressure that resulted in this ridiculous decision. Everyone forgets that before they were sent down, they were told Korrak was in no mortal danger, just a coma with clerics by his side 24/7, completely stable. This entire time Jiutou has been tunnel-visioned about saving Korrak as fast as possible, damn the consequences, and damn anyone who gets in her way. Cam has been whipped by the overbearing. dishonourable and just plain paranoid women of this party.
Honestly that was all on Jiutou and Elora for being hypocritical worrywarts. Elora said she didn't have any experience with the outside world, when SHE LITERALLY STARTED THE EXACT SAME WAY. And Jiutou, well; Girlie was completely miserable down there, about as miserable as Jiutou was when she was a slave( while Jiutou keeps talking about freeing slaves and shattering shackles).
Really Trott shouldn't have caved in to their paranoia and complete lack of respect for Cam's word, which leads back into their overall disdain for Cam. From the very beginning you could see that he was definitely the outman in the group, and it only got worse when Dmitriev died (because of his own refusal to leave his fucking house while it was on fucking fire, I mean seriously the guy basically committed suicide by not immediately leaving the house like any rational person); Even before the revelation of Mirela they were already talking about how bad Cam was, how much they hated him. The only exception to all of this was Trell, who didn't judge Cam like some kind of higher-than-thou nose-thumber (Like some people with names similar to Bootou and Smellora), but did still give him slightly less than good-natured ribbing, but hey, he's not a good guy in the first place.
Now I'm not saying Cam didn't make his fair share of mistakes (he did intentionally set Dmitriev's curtains on fire, even if he didn't mean to burn down the shop), just that the others have made just as many and completely ignore their own mistakes to kick the piss outta Cam(possibly to make themselves feel better?). I mean really, the guy's life has been an absolute shitheap. it seems like no matter what he does, something fucks it up. Sometimes it is him, but most of the time it isn't.
Agree with you 100%. I think a big part of the problem is that Katie isn't good at staying in character. Elora is supposed to be a friendly but naive free spirit - she comes across as a micromanaging paranoid hoarder. It's also a little annoying how Elora is OP as fuck, but she keeps whining about how she has no special items. Kim is better at RPing but is very 'Tiefling lives matter' - and doesn't give a fuck about anything non Jiutou related, despite owing Cam a life debt.
Its not just Cam though, she owes the whole party a life debt. So when the group does get into an argument she has to pick a side. And that side usually is Elora, (idk why maybe she just likes poking fun at Trott.) probably because she trusts the Elf princess more than the human cleric
Am I late for the opinion party? I hope not, because I find it dubious how a Druid, who spends most of his time fighting in some animal form, was supposed to make great use of a magical item, anyway.
Also, Jiutou can be annoying as fuck as a character. She may fight like a monk but she lacks any sense of self control and shows no sign of character development in that regard. She is just as full of herself as before her death and she is more powerhungry than Trell (although she is not supposed to be). On top of that it feels like Kim is trying way too hard to grab the attention of the story, which makes the charcater just that little bit more irritating.
Sure, the whole thing is just for fun, but I hope the characters progress as I'm going on with this show. Trell and Cam are carrying the show for me right now alongside the awesome NPCs. I hope the ladies step up their game regarding character development in the upcoming episodes. I'll see.
I feel that Girly belongs with her people, even if she believes that her place is on the surface. She could become a strong leader of the Svirfneblins.
Apparently Drow, lay eggs. I learned something today.
I realize Cam is supposed to be the butt of the group, but for me, it's the girls. I mean, they make Cam break a promise with a child (for her race), and are always giving him shit for Dmitriv, when Jiutou set a fire at the Feast of Stone, threatening many important lives, and they just gloss over that. It's also pretty clear that Mark wanted them to go back (stone cleric, tower), and it would have been very interesting to see Tharizdun again, and maybe watching the interactions between Tharizdun and Girlie.
Just don't derail the DM's plans.
Pinky promise is sacred!
Also, Cam was already on thin ice with his god. I don't think your god would be happy with you breaking promises to anyone, especially a child.
Lmao most players make a point of derailing DM plans why should these b any different?
As other people have said, if Girly was a tiefling being oppressed. Kim/Jintou would have demanded she go with them.
Pisses me off to no end, DnD is meant to be fun, the girls are taking it too seriously, WHEN Cam makes a decision but once its done they'll make fun of him.
When its time for them to do so, Trott/Cam rarely brings it up the degree they do, he goes a long with it and lets them have their fun. Matt is fair game in some ways since it's own decisions that get him downed so often but when Cam is almost forced to make a decision THEN it ridiculed for it? not cool.
Is nobody talking about how she fucking solo killed a very powerful dragonborn!?
@@fishperson5492 "very powerful". He was less powerful than the individual party members. Might as well have been a bog standard orc.
When you care way more about girlie than the champion
I would absolutely shit my pants in happiness if Smith guest starred on the show at some point.
Marathoning this series to catch up to date and I really hope Elora/Katie ends up learning that D&D is meant to be fun and everyone should have the chance to make decisions other than her at some point in the future.
she goes in a mood when ever something does not go her way
Spoiler . . . Kim never learns anything, not even how to count, let alone developing any personal growth
I shouldn't have read the comments. Now I'm just seething about their decision to betray Girly, and can hardly bring myself to actually watch the video.
I hope Cam goes back once Korac is safe.
it's kind rediculous cos they're playing a game, they'll forget things and that sort of thing
Tbh Girlie was annoying af, good riddance
Jiutou and Elora were jerks in this session.
agreed
Juitou has always been hate to break it to u... she is the first to cry discrimination but is completely bigotted toward anyone who is not tiefling, particularly humans. Which is ironic itself because as a tiefling she is almost certainly half human....
They've always been jerks, honestly. Elora does nothing but question everyone all the time, and doesn't even play her character as she claims she's meant to be played, and Jiutou is a completely bigoted brat who doesn't care about anyone until something *directly* correlating to her character comes up.
Their decision to not go back to the valley made me pretty upset (as it did with lots of people)
Like, okay: 'She's not ready to go the surface, it's so different, and dangerous, and people might take advantage of her naivety.' is not a very good argument tbh,
The Underdark is already dangerous. Even if the Duergar aren't a threat anymore, there are still other creatures down there, and if they need someone to watch over her surely they could find someone willing out of THE MULTIPLE GOOD AND IMPORTANT PEOPLE IN THE CITY THAT THEY KNOW.
I mean, at least *after* Cam had found out Gurly learned magic IN A COUPLE OF DAYS JUST FROM READING ABOUT IT I would think that they would be like 'Well, okay, maybe she *could* handle herself...' at least a little, plus, how would they know whether or not she found out how to un-stone people, I kind of doubt she would have been like 'You need to come get me first to find out.' if she didn't find *anything* remotely useful to the situation, and even worse: what if Gurly finds out something about teleport magic and teleports herself out of the Underdark and on to the surface?! Surely then she would be even easier to take advantage of if she's alone from the start rather than brought there by them and *then* something happens. (which I'm sure they could deal with.)
Another thing, Korrak wasn't in fatal condition, and I don't completely understand why they assumed that if he wasn't already dead after them being gone a week that all of a sudden he would be about to die if they didn't get back *immediately*. It probably would have been better if they went to get Gurly because even if she didn't find out how to un-stone people then she still LEARNED MAGIC ALL BY HERSELF and they would be able to find out about how all the stuff with the deep gnomes an Duergar was going and if she *did* then that would have been great to know because they could help the priest/cleric and that could have given Cam even more help with restoration spell, or the cleric might have been able to cast it easier! he could know a ton of useful spells because he is probably a really powerful cleric! he was alone in the Underdark for Pete's sake!
Ai-yi-yi. So much to complain about with their decision.
P.S: They also made Cam break his promise, and it was a pinky promise no less! that's even more serious(in some cases) than a normal promise, -and he really -*-didn't-*- want to break his promise- despite the fact that they already had the scroll and as I pointed out above I doubt that two extra days would have changed the situation by much if anything at all.
In Cam's words "What's two more days?"
Another thing: Why is Elora the worry-wart of the group almost all the time? She was supposed to be naïve and cheerful, but instead she's always the first one to point out how bad things could go and think of all the things wrong with people's moral decisions!
Something I saw mentioned in the comments that I definitely agree with is that Elora mentioned how Gurly "wasn't prepared to go to the surface" and everything because it was so different to what she knows and has been 'comfortable' with....
ELORA YOU DID THE EXACT SAME THING WHEN YOU LEFT YOUR SPIRE(S)!
Like, really.
It's not that I'm trying to diss the players but I feel like they don't always get into the role of their character (mostly Kati/Katie though if I'm being honest, Trott does pretty good as Cam and so does Matt as Trell, Kim does *really* *really* decent with being Jiutóu)
And if she isn't ready to go now then she'll never be ready, because there are things that no matter your age or naivety you can prepare for as much as possible and all the preparing in the world still wouldn't have been enough in the end! It's better she goes so that she can learn exactly *how* different it is, and judging by how excited she was to go I don't think much could have made her think the surface wasn't interesting.
You could really tell by the way Mark was saying things like how it would only take 2 more days to get to the surface and the fact that he added in girly learning magic so quick probably to show them that she would be useful and not being babysat
Would be interesting if Trell decided to empower his patron by spreading his word via his own deeds, maybe create a shrine for him on the surface. At least that would be what I would want to do.
Share his god he wouldn’t want someone else to be favoured over him?
WHY THE FUCK WAS FALK NOT EVEN PICTURED WITH JITOUS REVIVAL
Yeah I was looking forward to seeing him.
I think you mean "WHY THE FALK..."
I know! He wasn't even mentioned in the fight against the huntsman!
+Xqual that moment when your reply on a comment becomes more popular than the comment itself.
because FALF FALK
Final comment, I swear.
How long till Cam and Cassandra get married and have little Lightborn babies? The heroic cleric with a not so little pet snake has now saved Korak (swap in 'c's as you wish) and held her in her moment of weakness and is just generally a charismatic bastard. Classic set up. I ship it.
'Elora doesn't have a dark past'
*Mark smirks* :D
Matt really made me laugh with his sarcasm this episode xD
1:31:26 "That Dragonborn is one of the major players, if we can capture him... Well I can pump him for information and get what I can" - Dermot
3:08:26 Nope.
Alexander Clark KALI MA!
Gotta hit them where it hurts. Their Tailor.
A child who can teach herself magic going after Cam he dead
She's like 100 she ain't a child, just very childlike lol, but I would hate to be hunted by gurlie, someone so innocent being betrayed, thems the types to hold grudges
Hey Neptune, wanna go for a swim?
+Alacnay The Great NOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Neptune Vasilias Mwahahahaha!
Reese Chloris compared to how long they can live, she is considered young and just a child
The moment of frozen time with Avandra was really beautifully done Mark!
I like how every look on Kim's face is 100% in character, pretty much.
Man the Korak healing was a beautiful moment
They should have went back for girly. She could have got that other cleric dude back from the stone. Elora was not even giving Cam's promise to girly a thought. I'm beginning to dislike Elora and Jiutóu.
Posaiden and The Cleric that was Stone was probably more powerful then Cam and might've been be able to use the scroll more effectively
Thats a big if
Yeah what the fuck. That really did piss me off.
"Oh no Cam it won't be safe for Girlie, just abandon her, break your promise and crush her dreams, oh and make sure to get all the information we want from her".
Aren't those two meant to be good people? They didn't want to intervene when the dwarves were beating up the Smurfs and now they're persuading Cam to be selfish too, because you know it wasn't out of fear for Girlie's safety that they decided to leave her behind. They just didn't want to have to babysit.
I'm so fucked off about that. Fuck.
i think jiutou has a reason to ignore girly. she feels an obligation to heal corak after beating the shiz out of him in that fight. i really dislike elora. she messes up combat and doesn't play her character. really sucks.
Jiutou and Elora have always been cunts. At least with Elora, it's a character thing, Kim is just an extension of her own narcissism and stupidity.
Rewatching all of HR, including one shots and mini campaigns, really show that she's just a shit person who even other players have just had enough of half the time
Plot Twist they go back to Girly and she can't even read! xD
Another plot twist they gave the wrong scroll.
+Lenny Lynch Triple Twist she only exists in Cam's mind
+A Paradox In Space And Time Quadruple Twist: Cam's been dead all along
How did she learn magic then SPOILERS!!
Sheer force of will
Get hyped for Barris!!!
Barris WAY OP
BARRIS BOIS
Rolls up, makes a long ass throw, crits the dragon, shillelagh's his sword and stabs the dragon in the heart. I wanted so badly for Barris to be the one to get the killing blow.
Griffin the griffin I think he actually did but mark didn't want the first dragon to be killed by an NPC with ridiculous rolls :P would've been hype if he killed it though...
Barris and Girlie have very similar voices. They are made for each other.
Dah'Mir pulls power from a "strange star" and creates a child. This "strange star" wouldn't happen to be Pelor's Light now would it?
I don't think the timeline would fit because loth has been around for longer than the lightfall
It just sounds super convenient, does it not?
yoooooo that makes so much sense, Trells god caused the light fall oh noon
+Richard Blank but the star created Lolth who created the Drow and the Lightfall was 40 years before the campaign and the Drow existed long before that
Craig Sydserff Time travel.
nooooooo!!! I wanted them to have to go past therizdun again!!
Aw, Mark talking about how he would die if he got to be a guest on Critical Role. Adorable. Been binge watching High Rollers since your guest appearance. Can't wait to start the new campaign live this weekend!
Man, Cam and Trell are the best. Their characters are just so good
Okay, why were they trying to run away from the dragon initially? Oh yeah, leave a poison-spewing dragon under the Broken Sky's command in the wild. I'm SURE that it won't do something like, say, Terrorize a local village or any other city. yeah, I'm sure
EVERYTHING will be fine.
Also, making Cam feel bad about leaving Girly when he WANTED to take her to the surface, but the rest of you talked him out of it...really?
ProfessorFanatic okay so the next time a dragon charges towards you, I’d like to hear your reaction
The real question is why didnt a green dragon dip once the fight got out of its favour
"Cam the wanker"
new title unlocked
yes elora we will take the quick way out of the underdark then take a fucking stroll to the champion
That Intro video though.. man ever since watching the first episode, I've been.. enchanted by the story, the feels, the banter, the fun and sad times. I may be a bit late to this but I look forward to continuing to follow this story. I know this is typical but, really been helping me whilst I wait for my mother to heal from cancer and even if you don't ever see this, all I can say is thank you, thank you for giving me something to enjoy
I couldn't watch it live because i was DM'ing my own game - Thank you so much for the inspiration High Rollers. I was very nervous to start with but it was still incredibly enjoyable.
AH FUCK LOOKS LIKE I'M COMMENTING AGAIN. If they leave Girly in the underdark, she's totally getting corrupted by magic and going evil.
It's a good thing you included unnecessary profanity... You are so cool...
Tazz EightSixFour thanks babe
//Spoilers//
Man that Khorak moment was so tense!
And the return of Duracell!
Ivandra is best goddess.
That intro was spectacular. Left me all tingly.
I'm also really sad that they're not going back to Tharis'dun. I loved that crazy floating eyeball.
They might return and if they do i suppose that he is on the way so they should end up encountering him again if they want to find out more about the Cleric.
They finished Tharis'dun's quest of killing the Queen, they need to revive the Cleric, and get Girly to the surface.
They really SHOULD go back.
Soooooooo cooool!!!!!! Omg so much effort went into that intro! Thank you guys!
Fucking awesome intro!
Intro/Recap
Yeah
d@#% right
Didn't Critical Role used to do this exact same thing?
+orchedt and ale
Oh. My. GOD! That intro left me with chills, tears, and love for the very reason most of us get up every Sunday-the High Rollers XD
2:01:15 love the Pokemon Trell with tiny Grenamear (is that how you spell it) and the nature:sassy mischievous at the bottom
The Epic song that plays in the fan art video is called "perceptible shades 3" .
Natural Twenty on perform check!
Thank you, I've been looking for that.
Nat 20 on Perception!
I waited all day to watch this and it was worth it as always, I really love these D&D sessions
BARRIS! THE TRUE HIGH KING!
Girly is going to die from the traps when she tries to go to the surface
Them avoiding Girly is almost as infuriating as the main character forgetting to pay off the warehouse guy in War Dogs.
BUT CAM PINKIE PROMISED!!!!
That recap video was so goddamn cool, the effort put into it is very much appreciated
My name is Jiutou Zhiji Jing, and I am the fastest tiefling alive.
Awesome new intro! You guys rock and are certainly among the top D&D shows out there. BTW, Kim did a great job as DM last time and I'm looking forward to her session next week.
They better go back for girly
Could someone tell Elora that D&D is fun?
My guess is that Fellania is a cloud giant (or a custom monster which is equally likely)
Halfling and a quiet elf? Sounds like the guys from Tallfield.
Starts at 7:22 break ends at 2:08:48 fanart start at 1:58:24
Now who could've been Girly's guardian.
Loben Trogdor the pink haired gnome.
Who ran off with the terrorists, great choice
yep a gnome that is off with terrorists, who attacked a side arm for korake and charmed some one into letting some one out of prison yep amazing choice
Elora get off your high horse and leave Trell alone!!
Lmao that meeting with Dermont was basically just that classic RPG NPC giving you a bunch of quests and tasks for you to do for them. xD
Someone take all their high roller streams and write a book about it. I will buy it!!!
Yes Elora. You judge people, don't forget to take your silver spoon out of your mouth while you talk :)
Okay imagine this. Gurly fuckes up her magic, somehow ends up putting her soul into a magical dagger, and the dagger gets to cam in someway.
Seeing Barris back slightly made me feel better for them not going back for Girlie
That fanart. WITNESS ME!
Cam is crying over his dagger, Trellimar is sleeping, Jiutou is bleeding out, Elora gets everybody off the ledge, kills the boss, and heals them.
I'll carry this whole team if I have to!
First : great intro , Second : How dare you leave girly behind!
Also : BARRIS BARRIS BARRIS!
Kim and Katie are like the players in RPGs who just ignore sidequests and rush through the main story. If they thought about it out of character for a second, they would have come to the conclusion "Mark wants us to meet this cleric dude so he's probably had Girlie learn flesh-to-stone, along with all that other magic. He also has a story for Korak, so he's probably not going to punish us by killing him because we spent an extra day helping the Cleric and picking up Girlie".
On the other side of the coin, if they'd been truly in character, Elora doesn't seem the sort to intentionally break a promise and hurt someone, and Jiutou is meant to be all about honour.
It's just that the players wanted to speed it up and get back to Korak because that's the part of the story that they get to be involved in, and fuck you Cam for trying to do something that doesn't directly pertain to that objective.
That intro was amazing! Great work guys!
"I don't believe in hard fast plans" Immediately stopping what Jiutou was planning XD
How high could a highroller roll if a highroller could roll high
Best episode ever! So cool I'll re watch it forever
THAT INTRO WAS SO COOL! HOLY CRAP! Very very very well done
Ok. Sad for Girly. But this is the second time these guys have made me teary-eyed over made up characters. Thank you all!! 👍
Here is the lesson; the PCs need to take their promises more seriously to NPCs. I get the sense alot of viewers feel this choice was a dick move and i agree. They have needed huge amounts of help but seem to be treating all the npcs as video game npcs that can just be forgotten once their purpose is served. This is not a video game and actions have consequences....
Well I get my exam results tommorrow and I'm watching this to calm my shit
Good luck
in hell
+Zextral thx I may be homeless tommorrow night
Matthew Thomas
that got real o-o
+spong mongler it already was
I want Cam to run back down for girly :'(
He promised.
I bet it was that weird time orb that made then take longer
That intro video was actually amazing!
I wonder if the Princess is a evil Storm Giant
It would explain the size, blue skin, and lightning also Giants used to live in the sky.
*video cuts out* FORCE GREY GIANT HUNTERS, BUY NOW FROM WIZARDS OF THE COAST!!!
Preeeeeeeeeeeeeeetty sure she's a cloud giant...
Of course the stormcaller is interested xD
Cloud Giants don't have blue skin Hanky boi, but Storm Giants do.
2:12 that noise you make when you have a seizure mid sentence
me waaay earlier: IF CAM MAKES GIRLY UPSET I'LL CUT HIS NAT 20 OFF
me now: QvQ sorry it had to come to this cam
10/10 would like to see what duncan has come up with for his character. Lets just hope its not a flying skull bard
