    Cool. Thanks for telling me about this video. I own 40 acres on the north side of the road. Years ago, I found a spear point at the edge of the dry lake (tip broken).

    Those mormon crickets were hanging out at the same exact spot on jungo road off highway 95 last year (2021) around the same time. Hundreds of thousands of them, the stench was horrible.

    I've noticed that any meteorites that are found and have been there for some time on the dry lake beds have mild to severe wear to the underside this is most likely from being moved around across the dry lake bed by winds

      Yes, and on top, found one recently near area 51 that was heavily worn and weathered... thank you.

    I have an question, how do i find meteorites in europe?

    • @MetalDetectingOutWest
      @MetalDetectingOutWest  3 года назад

      Do a google search of meteorites found in your country. Locate an area nearest to you, where a lot of meteorites have been found. Search for them with a metal detector or magnet. You can find a lot of videos on youtube on how to meteorite hunt. Good Luck...

    I had to redo this video with lower volume levels, RUclips makes you delete the video to edit with an external editor...

    Idk if those are meteorites

      @MetalDetectingOutWest  2 года назад +2

      They are part of the Jungo and Tungsten meteorites classified in the Metbul. An Ordinary L to H Chondrite. James Tobin, who runs Meteorite Times Magazine went on this trip, and is in video, whos a 30+ year professional found a few and confirmed all, this trip was featured in the July 2019 Meteorite Times Magazine also. Thank you for watching...

      Jungo Dry Lake (AKA: Jungo Flat) is approx 33 miles west of Winnemucca, Nevada. To get to it, get on Highway 49, also known as Jungo Road in Winnemucca, NV. and travel West approx 33 miles West. If you look on google maps for Jungo Flat, Nevada it will show you exactly the location... Good luck out there...
