I’m thinking of selling my Ninja 1000. I love the bike but it’s just a tad heavy and I can’t flat foot it. I’m 5’6… I’m looking through your vids to see some options. I’m afraid if I go down I’ll lose the acceleration and comfort but I need a lighter lower bike. What are some recommendations?

What model year is the ninja 1000? Do you want to stay in a sporty style bike? I have a 30" inseam and I am generally on the balls of my feet on most bikes. Big ADVs I am lucky if my toes touch the ground so I do understand how you feel. Lets see if we can come up with some bikes to look at that will meet your needs without giving up to much power.

@@MotorcycleDemoRidersI have the Kawasaki Ninja 1000, 2016 model, red one. Love the sporty style so something in a similar style but smaller would be nice. I love how the ninja has great torque on the low end. Mostly city driving for me

I know the 2016 Ninja 1000 very well. Traded mine for a 2012 Triumph Daytona 675. A little less power and a lot less comfortable but the old guy wanted a track bike lol. Anyway, the first issue is that to be honest the Ninja 1000 still looks like a Sport bike and most manufacturers that stopped making fully faired bikes with the comfort of the Ninja and moved to the naked bike style. Triumph Tiger 900 GT Low, Triumph Trident 660, MT-07, Indian Scout Rogue (Not a Sport bike but Really Good), CFMoto 700CL-X, 2024 Triumph Street Triple 765 R(My favorite bike ridden this year). Just a few options but you could get the Ninja down in weight to around 480lbs and drop it by 2". If none of those are to your liking, we can keep looking.
