    I'm an upright player, but i found this very neat...definitely a tough tune at tempo

    So much more interesting and full of possibilities than diatonic (is that the right term?). I have always dreamed of keyless music. Your explanation is super. Fascinating stuff.

      Exactly - keyless music! It goes back to the 20th century classical composers, like Shostakovich, Stravinsky, and Schoenberg. The jazz developed in that direction too.
