  • In today's video Your battery will last forever! Revive an OLD battery for portable TOOLS, we'll share an amazing life hack that will help you restore old screwdriver batteries that seem to have served their purpose. This method not only saves your budget, but also helps the environment by reducing the amount of e-waste.
    *How it works?*
Batteries for screwdrivers and other tools lose their capacity and ability to hold a charge over time due to chemical processes occurring inside them. However, if you have a dead battery and a working battery, you can try to revive them. Connecting a good battery to a bad one can help rebalance the charge, which will temporarily restore the old battery's functionality.
    *Recovery steps:*
    1. Take the faulty battery and a fully charged working battery.
    2. Connect them together using wires, making sure to connect plus to plus and minus to minus.
    3. Leave them for some time (from several minutes to an hour) so that the charge can flow from the full battery to the discharged one.
    *Why does this work?*
When you connect two batteries, charge begins to move from the more charged to the less charged. This can help restore the chemical balance inside a faulty battery, temporarily increasing its ability to hold a charge.
    *Important Cautions:*
    - This method may not be safe and may short circuit or damage the battery if not performed correctly.
    - Always use protective gloves and goggles.
    - Before carrying out the procedure, make sure that the batteries are compatible in voltage and type.
    *Conclusion:*
We hope that this life hack will be useful for you and you will be able to save money on buying new batteries.

Don't you think there is a reason why the protection circuit prevents charging? Not only are you bypassing the chargers electronic, you are also practically short-circuiting the healthy battery because there is no current limit. You can only hope that there is still a protective circuit in the battery itself or that the internal resistance of the dead battery is high enough. Ok, most lithium batteries don't start to burn or explode, but increased self-discharge, lower capacity and reduced ampere output do not increase the joy of working. If you accept the risk with a deeply discharged battery, use a laboratory power supply. The problem with your method is, that not all cells are discharged and you do not ensure, that the charge levels are balanced. The “effect” therefore is only for a short time.

I don't know. If in a Li-ion battery pack a cell breaks down, it is trash.

It's all nonsense in title and image to get views. A battery is made up of cells, they are not eternal, the chemistry deteriorates. Everything has a limit and an end. Here it's just for clicks, like those who power 2000w electric heaters with a PC fan turned into a power generator with 6 magnets around it. 😂😂
