Excellent video as always Paul. Wondering, if you have CloudWorx for Autocad and you bring in a LGS file as shown in your video; and you were then to save the file and send to a client/colleague for them to review, etc. would they be able to see the LGS point cloud and crop it, etc. similar to if it had been a ReCap point cloud, even if they don't have CloudWorx? Thank you for any insight.

No, they would not. They would need CloudWorx. The LGS remains “unattached” to the Autocad drawing

Can you create a point file (txt or csv) of the cogo points from the ground grid you created ?

    • @RealityCaptureGuy

Indeed you can - because the points are resident in AutoCad... easy! :)

So you are saying that I will see them in the All points point group?

@@tedlink1161 depends on how you have Autocad set-up, but you can re-assign them if needed.

Hey Paul, I'm interested in purchasing Leica CloudWorx for AutoCAD. Could you please tell me the difference between Basic and Pro? I'm most interested in the Auto-Fit Polyline tool. Is the available with the basic version? Thank you

Leica CloudWorx for AutoCAD needs a licence or can use it for free?

Licensed... for Autocad there is basic and pro versions, both available on subscription, rental or permanent licenses.
