  • Deep sea bottom fishing requires specialized rigs and tackle to withstand the strong currents and deep waters. Here are some tips on how to make a rig and tackle for deep sea bottom fishing:
Choose the right components: The first step is to choose the right components for your rig and tackle. This includes selecting strong and durable fishing line, swivels, hooks, weights, and other accessories that are rated for deep sea fishing.
Tie the rig: Once you have the components, tie the rig according to the type of fishing you plan to do. Some common types of rigs for deep sea bottom fishing include the dropper loop rig, the chicken rig, and the sliding sinker rig.
Use the right bait and lures: Depending on the species you're targeting, you may need to use live bait like squid or mackerel, or artificial lures and jigs designed for deep sea fishing. Research the feeding habits of the fish you want to catch and select your bait and lures accordingly.
Test the rig: Before heading out to sea, test the rig to ensure it's strong and secure. This can be done by pulling on the line and checking that all the knots and connections are tight and secure.
Bring backup: It's always a good idea to bring backup rigs and tackle in case one gets lost or damaged while fishing.
By following these tips and using high-quality components, you can create a rig and tackle that is strong and durable enough to handle the challenges of deep sea bottom fishing.

Fantastic, so this is what I guessed from the video, 100x size 11/0 OCTOPUS BEAK Suicide Fishing Hooks Chem Sharp 2X STRONG (Hooks) only hooks I could find similar, 100x size 2/0,ROLLING Cross line 3 Way Fishing Swivel test 75kg (Hooks), 1x size # 8 BALL BEARING FISHING SWIVELS TEST 125KG (Main Connecting Swivel), MONO CLEAR NYLON TRACE LEADER 100LB 100m HANK 1.05 mm (Hooks), MONO CLEAR NYLON TRACE LEADER 150LB 100m HANK 1.40 mm (Spacing) for the tackle plus your several deep sea lights (LED Diamond Shape Deep Sea Fishing Lamp LED Attracting fishing Light Rated to 1000m Depth) & 3x 16mm x 300mm Iron Reinforcing Bar = 1.4607 Kg - 4x 16mm x 450mm Iron Reinforcing Bar = 2.9214 Kg sinker weight, basically anywhere from 900mm - 1800mm of 16mm Iron Reinforcing Bar this is an approximate to what you showed.

I'm a Fitter/Many other Trades etc & I'm beginning to build my own Catamaran Boat designed for a Fishing Business with 4 crew where I will be based in Asian. My boat will be able to hold around 10,000 kg of fish/ice & crates. I've been watching your channel for a while now & was hoping that you would give some information on the tackle which I watched today & saved the video as well for later reference, thank you for making this video as it really helped me a lot.
Today I planned out a text file on the computer of all the tackle I listed previously in another comment & I also worked out an idea to make 4x 24" 507mm Diameter Bicycle Rims into Reels that have fishing reel knobs so that it's easy to winch up 500m of line in about 5 & a half minutes with 20 hooks on it hopefully with fish & I found these Deep Drop lights that are rated for 700m which are what most pro fishermen in Australia use. The whole setup will be quite cheap & easy to sit down on the deck while winding in the fish. Anyway thanks again for all the information on the Tackle.
