Saying “No” can get you out of trouble yet it’s also important to realize sometimes saying “No” can have unfavourable consequences... even if you have the best of intentions
I had a friend who told me she was born and raised in a Christian fundamentalist family. She said she had to be happy all the time, and was never allowed to express any other emotion. She said it disturbed her bad and made for significant challenges in sense of self later in life.
The girl of East Asian descent at 1:03 never knew any of the damn words. Neither did I though. We both tried our best, which is all that counts I guess.
I had a friend who went to the ranch (he didn't appear on the show ) for a few years. One year we brought him to our cottage from the camp or maybe a day or so after. For his entire stay with us he was singing Circle Square songs. I had reached my fill of them by the next day & by the time we dropped him off @ his house my entire family was driven batty by them !!
Didn't this show have a theme song that went something like "If one can make a good thing happen, imagine how much more that you could do if there were two! If two can make a good thing happen, imagine how much more that there would be if there were three!" Looking for the video if that song!
I enjoyed this show as an 8-10 year old to pass the early Saturday morning by in Ontario, but didn't realize the strong religious component involved until later. I watched, enjoyed a few episodes, but didn't become a "member". A bit too preachy.
I hope they checked on that Asian girls welfare. She constantly looked pained and in distress. Or like she was always smelling something really bad! LOL
Omg I loved this as a kid!
Me to. But as you get older it seems kind of creepy. Still fun to watch thou !!
There's nothing creepy about Circle Square,it was the 80s. 🤪
Reppin’ the Double Blue with the Argos Jersey!
I remember having the Circle Square song book.

JC was the only reason I watched this show. He was so cute!
This reminds me of riding my bike with the banana seat to Beckers to buy the popsicle that you break in half
The Beckers popsicles were awesome !!
I remember that metal contraption the clerk had where you stick the popsicle in and push down and it broke the popsicle in half.
Oh my very old show
I used to look at this and even write to them when I was young
“It’s not in your songbook! Sing along with us!”
*shows no lyrics on screen*
NO!!! I won't sing along with you...
I feel myself slowly being brainwashed but I still cant stop myself from watching this on repeat:) thanks for sharing this

why do i feel like these kids are trying to stair into my soul?
These kids are so brainwashed they have almost no mind left. They are little more than robots.

They don't have one of their own, years of brainwashing got rid of their own
If your parents tell you to clean your room ,say no
play 2 times slower to hear distorted sadness
1:08 Marci Ien
The kid at 1:55 is the only one showing any enthusiasm.
Say no….eh….
Wow .... don’t they all look happy .....
I wonder where all these actors are now.
Funny how the Chinese girl gets the "nonono" piece.
She is Vietnamese. her name is Houi (pronounced WAH) Meng.

How much did these kids get picked on at school?

The 2020 version goes, "Say yes-- but have a buddy close by and get ready to call the paramedics!"
Even as a kid I detested this show and the sanctimonious horse shit it preached. Watching these creepy brainwashed robots made me hate Christianity.
Now you have elected one of these kids as a LIberal MP...help us all!
NO!!! I will NOT sing along with you Circle Square!!!
Say no to Christianity
say NO to liberals and marci
saturday mornings were for good kid shows, this was horrible
But no doubt cheap to air.
How dare these people use a Platonic concept as a name for a Christian show!
