Heather is a beautiful woman that we admire with all our hearts. I admire her since I was a child, Nancy will always be our strength and inspiration. We love you dear Heather in Peru.
Great interview! Heather is a legend. I love seeing interviews like this with her. She played my favorite character in NOES, Nancy, and was a hero to me when I was a little girl and I still think she’s so cool! I need to get to one of the Horror Cons so I can finally meet her sometime. It’s on my bucket list to meet her and Robert Englund. I wish she and Robert could return for one last ‘Nightmare’ together! My heart really goes out to her over the loss of her son and her father. Thank you for sharing this here. I’m a bit late. It came up randomly in my search for interviews with her. I’m so glad I found this. 🌹
I love Heather so much, I love Nightmare on elm street saga and for me Nancy's character is the most important, I loved the interview and being able to learn a little more about Heather
I believe you are the one who did unchain my heart for the episode where the girls sing did you do a whole version of this and is there anyway I can get it one of my all-time favorite songs and your rendition is spot on and amazing
How did i miss this. Nightmare on elm has such an impact on me rent it all the time just watching over and over because it makes me feel like like im a child again watching it behind my fingers. But now im 30 i watch it to get myself through an obstacle i find myself in just like nancy finds her self. So i thank you for that Heather. Btw i loved you in the midnight club. Hoping for a second series xx
Great interview! Thanks for bringing us more of the great Heather Langenkamp! Nancy Lives!!! I have been a fan of ANOES since seeing it in 1985, and since day 1, it's all been about Heather.
This was such a wonderful conversation to watch. So enjoyable. ☺️ Just rewatched Heather Langenkamp in New Nightmare. She is freaking fantastic in that movie! She totally carried it. I LOVE the emotional work and physicality work they gave her to do in it!! So much action! Love her performance in it!☺️ Thank you for doing this interview.
What she said about not being interested in heroes anymore struck a nerve with me. I have always loved superheroes, but as I’ve gotten into comic books, I came across a lot of superhero deconstruction stories that seem designed to make people hate superheroes. And I agree with her wholeheartedly, is it so wrong to look up to someone who has extraordinary abilities and uses them to help rather than hurt? Someone who cares about the people in their world so much that they would sacrifice anything to keep them safe and alive? Is that so wrong? I was rooting for the heroes of Elm Street from day 1.
Well I'm not a female and/or gay, and I think Nancy's character is grossly under appreciated. I'd argue that she's the best "last girl" of any horror movie. She's definitely up there with Jamie Lee and deserves a little more love than she gets. I'd remind people that she kicked Freddy's ass a couple of times.
Thank you for sharing, you don’t have to be female or gay to appreciate women or femininity 😅 That’s an outdated toxic idea of masculinity. I think you’re amazing for saying this and thank you ❤

Heather Langenkamp is American. She is not from Peru. She is an actor and makeup assistant. She has nothing to do with volunteer work in Peru.

She needs to return for a new nightmare film. These writers better get to it.
It may already be under way...

It's her opinion
Great interview keep up the good work
I'd also ask her how was it for her to work with the scream queen Barbara Steele in The Butterfly Room. Still a great conversation!
Nice Interview.
Miss làñgeñkàmp. And the and Jamie Lee Curtis is my heroes 😁,🙏🏿🙏🏿👑👑
The woman in the accompanied video is Ms. Angela Orlandi.
Yep, Nancy showed me that a man can be inspired by an heroine to be a better man, even if I discovered her when I was 14 years old
