my first animal purchases were rooster, and pig for mating. that said like u i left gate open all time. i seen eventually around winter time piggy got out. finally found her next day back side of fence led her inside closed all the gates lol. so animals will wonder off i guess.

Yeah they do wander off thats for sure
best way to make money is grow potatoes. start planting in March you can get 3 plantings per season
