I had to ask my brother to hold them down, but i was being picky of these cat distraction videos and i found this and i got to trim all 18 toes that they each have because of this video. THANK YOU
My kitties definitely like this, just make sure your monitor is secured so it doesnt fall over.
I prefer one-on-one play but this is great for when I’m at work. I’ll check on them during the day and catch them sitting in front of the tv or tapping the screen 😆

Once a week I have to leave Christy my cat alone for several hours. She was abandoned by her "owners" when they moved. She was homeless for some time, then she chose to live with me, and I pamper her as much as I can. Right after she came to live with me, she got pregnant and had 5 healthy, cute, loving kittens, all "boys". I found good homes for 4 of them and I kept one, who was a true joy to be with, but unfortunately he passed away so suddenly May 2023.
Christy still remembers him and when she was depressed after he died, this video helped so much to cheer her up and bring her out from under my daughter's bed. Thank you for doing this very creative video.

Wow, came across this by accident, all others i looked for...and they don't ever seem to 'work'. But this one caught my cat's eye and he stayed with it for quite a long time. Maybe 20 full min.
At least she didn't attack the touchscreen monitor with this one, it seems to inspire more passive viewing tg. I just wanted to spend more quality time with my little Empress, she wasn't supposed to turn into a feline video game addict! Last night she even leaped up to chase a moving song title marquee on Spotify and I'm dreading to see what happens when I start working again on Monday.

I can't do any of these with my youngest- she goes nuts and rips everything to shreds trying to find the noise/ movements under the phone. She rips up carpet, shreds sheets, etc.
Is it just my kitten but at first he was really trying to catch them, even biting them. Then he started waiting at the end of my phone if they'll come out from there but after a few minutes he looked frustrated for not catching anything. Just imagine desperately trying to catch something Infront of you but you cant. So I let him play with one of my yarns. This is just like the laser pointer. It's just frustrating for them. They would be distracted tho but they might get aggressive for not catching something.
Just give them some treats after so they feel like catching something

my kitten started hissing because it was scared of the blue string i’m assuming he thought it was a snake or something but he was so scared, I put on another video, but now he is doing something else, so I can comment but my adult cat has no reaction to it now that I showed her it, I’ll keep this off for the kittens

This freaked my cat out. She's an incredibly sweet and tiny 2.5 year old and the most anxious of her siblings (she doesn't like to play with fast-moving toys and spends less time outside). She was sitting on my lap, and I turned this video on with the darkest brightness setting on my laptop. She just stared at it, but when I moved my hand, she suddenly got to her feet and arched her back. I reached over to pet her and show her that it was ok and coax her back down. The moment I touched her, she jumped higher than she ever had before, back arched and landed 5 feet away staring at the back of my computer. She's watched TV calmly with me since she was 3 weeks old, so this video must be like cat cocaine or something for her to get that overstimulated. Will try with her less anxious siblings later.
