It was always about good games anyway. I don't really care if i play a good Mario game on a dual screens, with motion controls, 3D effect or simply on the TV with a controller. The gimmicks never really enhanced the games massively except a few outliers like Wii Sports or Skyward Sword. And the two most important "gimmicks" that have become industry standard in Smartphones, the touchscreen and motion controls, are there.
its going to be a more powerful switch. But somethint that isn't talked about in these leaks is potential microphone option. Finally expanding on online communication is something we been asking for since the switch's inception.
I've seen discussions about how that new button is actually a microphone. I'd like to see that since it would show that Nintendo is taking more of an interest in proper online play.
I doubt this is real, cause I think they would add a new gimmick, I’ll probably not buy it till 1 year later, like all my other consoles, and yeah the Wii really was the only console like that, I don’t know how to feel.
It's possible they feel that a gimmick isn't warranted. I think other than VR (which shouldn't be required for games and could only be, at best, an add-on) there aren't any sort of "new" gimmicks that they could do. I would love to see an expansion to the Wii U gamepad because I really think that the gamepad was misunderstood.
The problem is that this is nintendo they ALWAYS put in the extra effort even with the wii u And if then nintendo has no gimmick it feels like nintendo lost a part of itself
It definitely should. If the leak is real, then it's literally 'just a Switch'. It's the exact same console, just bigger and presumably better. I would prefer an actual new console that has a different brand attached.
Yeah, the Wii U really must’ve traumatized them and made them play it safe. What’s strange is that it probably wasn’t even the gimmick that brought down the Wii U it was, I think, the weaker first party games early on and it seeming more like “the same as a Wii.” This console could be repeating that same mistake
I would love it to have 2 displays like a DS tbh, i get that its a switch but like, that'd be epic
Haha they’d probably have to call it something else if they went that route
Hey man, good video.
Thanks so much! I’m glad you enjoyed it!

@@TheGameCubicle yeah the game pad is so misunderstood, i think the game console was just as good.
