I feel like Jim is not a elf a.k.a (forest people) but some type of demon subclass but most likely he was a general in the demon army but betrayed his kind for some reason who now's wonder the land being reminded of his betrayal by being forced into some type of rage or berserker state as punishment would explain his magical abilities and restiences( also great story pls continue)
