Thanks mark I hit the jersey shore and Delaware all fall and winter on the weekends. I should have plenty content shortly. I focus on beaches in they off season . Thanks for watching!
Seems to have a ton of bullets come in from the dredging beach replenishment. Apparently they dumped them off shore by the thousands and used ships for target practice 1950s. Now that military junk gets pumped in. Other then that I enjoy Bethany 😉
Grew up surfing monster hole off Sebastian inlet. Lived in keys 11 years . I have a 1570 Spanish coin I found just walking the dunes after storm in 90s. I miss that region but I don't miss the vero beach bull sharks lol. Safer in the northeast.
@@midnightcoil found my first half reale few months ago and found copper sheeting with square holes, keep you posted on any new cool finds, found a carpenter square the other day
I thought it was pre-70 so my quarters just a quarter man that's disappointing. Most the people metal detecting are wealthy to begin with who are we joking it's an expensive hobby
I found a Roman coin on a similar landing Beach. I think only one of two ever recovered in Delaware. Assuming it was looted or carried as an early collection. anything's possible. We don't know what we don't know keep digging
Trimble from bubba at a great co called Keystone. I cut the cracked section off it's identical to the detecting handles. Worked out awesome. Not sure of the weight . The scoop is stainless by whites detecting. Thanks for watching
Alot of states consider anything over 100 years property of the state. It's kind of comical it's lost. Most of the original owners have king since passed. Archaeologist ruined hunting but I understand it. Hundreds of years of people stealing relics that should be preserved for the public to enjoy. Let's face it, a good Spanish coin is not a museum object. The titanic maybe lol. Thanks for visiting happy hunting.
Enjoyed the video
Enjoyed the comment! Thanks for watching. Happy Hunting I'd love to see Scotland sometime.. see actual old history. Ours is a baby next to yours .
Nice job man!!!!!

I’m in PA. Nice to find a more local RUclipsr. Subbed and looking forward to more content. I love the beach hunting.

Bethany, on either side of the Indian River inlet has always produced a solid staple of finds. Great video! I am also from PA. Up near Williamsport.

1964 was the last year of US silver coinage...
If you have a silver '65, you're Rich 🤑
I thought it was pre-70 so my quarters just a quarter man that's disappointing. Most the people metal detecting are wealthy to begin with who are we joking it's an expensive hobby
I think some of the bicentennial coins might be 40% silver? But those would be proof coins I believe.
Do you think there’s any Spanish gold on the small Delaware beaches like Broadkill?

Most 1965 quarters aren’t silver. Was the one you found silver?
Didn't test it I guess most of them are prior to 65. Sorry I missed this thanks for watching
Is that carbon fiber handle on your basket? What's it weigh?

I don’t think the state should be able to take any finds a detectorist gets on public property. To me it is like robbery.
