I do not agree at all! Xu Kai is a good actor. Do understand the characters well first before criticizing. In Arsenal military Academy, he portrayed the mischievous domineering playboy Gu Yan Zheng so well that he got the best actor award. On the contrary, he performed very well as a cool, firm and serious god ( Bai Jue ). In She and her perfect husband, he played the part of an innocent, timid and shy Yang Hua very well too, etc.
I don’t think you watched his works. I watched most of his works..Bai jua, Gu Yan Zheng, Lu si Chen, Yang Hao..all of them were very good acting of him. He is a not typecast.
