Great video! Just adding another way to knit better, which is what I'm always trying to do; thanks for all your help in achieving that goal. 👍

My knit stitch is the loose one. Knitting in the round is leaving rowing out. Please help. Thank you.

Hi Gillian, I'm not sure I understand the question, but if your knits are looser than your purls, then hold a thinner needle in your right hand when you work right side rows of stockinette stitch. We generally don't create any gaps between rows when we work in the round. Happy knitting :-)

Needles one (or two) sizes different aren't only the recommended difference: Maryna is using a 3.5 (US4) and 4.5 (US7) three sizes apart - in the still picture posts. Even a larger size spacing may be necessary for some individuals.....

Thanks for the input, R K :-) You are right, the difference between the sizes depends a lot on the difference in tension between knit and purl rows. The best way to know what needles to use for the project is to swatch, swatch, swatch. The good news is - once you determine it, you can apply it to all of your projects. Happy knitting :-)

Wow - I never expected such quick reply from you, the 'author', and am impressed by your knowledge in the vids I've viewed as well as your pleasant, succinct, organized way of presenting the material. THX!
(And I ALWAYS swatch - this was impressed on me by my childhood family/teachers (Grandmother & Mom) 70+ years ago as well as in my knit-teaching years.)

Thank you R K :-) It's a pleasure to share interesting tips with you. If there's something you'd like to learn more about, let me know. On the other hand, if you know tips that you'd like to share, send me an email. I'll make a tutorial about your tip or technique with a proper credit to you of course :-) Thank you!
