This feels like a cliffhanger - a terrifying uncertain one. Like certain actions were not taken when they needed to be and (now) things will happen that were not supposed to.. If Humanz was the arrival of an uncertain dangerous future then this album is a needed sobering wake-up call... but it's still not enough to recognize that grave mistakes were and are being made and it's simply not enough to call them out. It is The Now, Now. Action needed to be taken much sooner than it happened but now it seems more people are stuck inside a dream - it's a disturbing (more noticable) trend I noticed from 2016 - 18 in part from artists (Dreams, Spirituality, Time Travel, Self-Preservation, Good vs. Evil and Apocalypse)... I sometimes wonder if the rumors were true about the high number of missing people and pets in NYC - it was a creepy spring/ summer. ._. I think I'm putting my weed and wine down now. Ah, Metric's Art Of Doubt reminds me so much of The Now, Now.
One of my best friends recently ended our friendship abruptly, and now I’ve been going through turmoil, stress and depression. This song has helped me overcome these feelings and now has a special place in my heart🖤
