It states the wrench sizes needed to adjust the hinge closing tension, but which size wrench is used to adjust hinge width? annoying that neither the video nor the manual includes that information
Can someone better explain, or provide a link, on how to adjust the spacing on each side, as shown in 2:22-2:42. That really didn't explain how to do it, or how it works.
I live in a windy area. I already have self-closing hinges. I am looking for soft-close hinges that wont speed up and close violently if the wind happens to catch the door. Will these hinges do the trick?
Was this a how to, or how not to video? I realize you need clearance for the gate to swing, but what looks to be an inch on both sides is a little Accessive.
I purchased this gate kit with the Freedom Emblem gate kit from Lowes....the kit was missing the hinge covers as shown here... all I got was the hinges... It looks unfinished without the covers... Lowe's didn't have any answers as to why it didn't come with covers...
I have the same exact issue,I was calling tommorrow to see why I didn't receive them. Did you get any info about why they aren't included in gate kits? If so please reply
@@ronaldmckeefrey5022 I called them and they said they were no longer including them, but since they were still listed on the package as being included they will send me the covers.

My gate was poorly installed. How do I adjust the alignment so it latches properly

Access is a good thing though right?
Will it work for and iron gate under 150lb???
I have to agree with the other comments, and, add to it that my hinge set is designed backwards from this video example. Welcome to America.
How in the world do the hinge screws have any longevity in a hollow 1/8 inch thick pvc post?
The hinge side uses a aluminum or pressure treated insert for support.
They don't have any longevity mine that are screwed into the hollow PVC have already fallen out after 1 year
I'd like to know how wide my door should be.
I know it's quite off topic but does anyone know a good site to watch new series online ?
@Lyric Maximilian i watch on Flixzone. Just search on google for it =)
@Leo Eden definitely, have been using FlixZone for years myself =)

What is the recommended opening for a 48'' gate ? From post to post ....
Wouldn't you go with a 36" opening?
50"
11/16 and 5/8 are incorrect tools, great.
