Negligence and medical malpractice happens. In this case the doctor sent an at risk patient who was displaying pre signs of cardiac arrest (dizziness, ecg strain) without any medical help. Puneet might have been saved if cpr/defibrillator was available. Think about that.

@@vasudhabhat7608 Puneeth was given emergency medicines like aspirin and nitrate . Its what any doctor gives when patient shows signs in ecg . And if its a small clinic and defibrillator wont be available at such setting. He needed further treatment which was why he was referred at the earliest.

@@vasudhabhat7608 I have called for an ambulance and had to wait 45 minutes for it to reach us in the lousy Bangalore Traffic , then again another 45 minutes to reach the patient to hospital....what doctor did was the best decision to reach the hospital as quickly as possible....he had forewarned them to save time in admission procedures there also.

If Puneeth would have survived then Doctor would have become an hero, everything is in God's hand, doctors can only try and do their best rest is God's decision. It's not just doctors decision to take Puneeth to Vikram hospital surely it would have been decided after talking to Puneeth and his wife.
If doctor would have referred nearest hospital other than Vikram again question would have been asked why Puneeth is not referred to Vikram hospital where he could have treated by best doctor.

I have got treatment from this doctor during my 8th grade to 10th grade .... Telling with expirence he s genuinely caring person .....have never seen such a doctor untill now..... My father also died BCS of heart attack...it was sudden same like appu sir..my father was coming home from market, he got sudden heart attack, he spoke many people in market while coming to home, after my father's death all those people told us he was talking very nicely to us , we did not expected he may get heart attack...some people said he was telling I have chest pain little may b it's BCS of gastric he told to some people...my father death was also sudden ... 😭😭😭...but that time there was no hospitals nearby ..but in appu sir case doctor was near to him ,I don't know y he failed to save him ??..

Just for everyone’s information. In one of the interview given by Shivanna today he said Appu sir had collapsed in Ramana Rao clinic and so called doctor suggested Ashwini Mam to take Appu sir to Vikram hospital rather than suggesting nearby hospital.
Ashwini Mam would never be able to forget that time when she got blanked out which is natural to any normal person at that time but culprit is the doctor..He could have saved Appu sir’s life if he had travelled with them together in same vehicle and to nearby hospital rather than being adamant on going to Vikram hospital where his son is working.
He said I had kept everything ready which we saw how much things were ready, seriously how could anyone lie to this extent
Reason why ambulance was not called or cctv footage not been shared is bcoz of the same reason..
If that doctor had travelled with them he could have done CPR and revived appu sir....
I clearly feel we lost appu sir only bcoz of Dr Ramana Rao’s negligence or careless ness.. I had never ever disrespected any doctor but here I am bcoz we lost a precious soul...

doctor cannot leave his other patients and go with every emergency patient to referral hospital in the ambulance every time..we don’t see normal patient or celebrity any differently or get any special treatment..every patient is same to us like for you all doctors are same to blame...do u knw if he had any other symptoms before he really felt the need to go to his clinic…bcoz me or u or anyone won’t go everyTime to the doctor on very first symptom..even Appu sir would have thought it’s just an epigastric pain may be becoz of gastritis or muscle cramps due to gymnastics and also becoz of his fitness,he had also checked his ecg on Apple Watch which is a 3 lead ecg and was normal, in clinics we do a 12 lead ecg.. He had performed a stunt very few days back and he had attended a party last night..I being a doctor also…pls don’t blame doctor for unfortunate events.

Anger is the first emotion.which comes out when someone close to heart dies. Then People will gradually realize the truth and calmness will follow.
I can see many comments supporting this doc he might have done as per his best expertise but there may be better ways to handle this situation so that it doesn't occur to anybody else and because its a celebrity case it can bring more awareness among general public to not take whatever doctor says for granted..Puneet Sir's wife can clarify her take on this as she is the sole witness..doctor is now talking about rescue medication which he did not tell earlier and not administering CPR cannot be excused..he said ambulance can delay Appu going to hospital won't ambulance have other essentials like oxygen and paramedics who can give CPR as a doctor he shud have imagined worse and be prepared for it
My personal experience dealing with 2 heart attacks for my father both times unfortunately we were misguided ..if my dad survived that was only because I took second opinion from other doc and followed my gut feeling ...everybody should be cautious and be prepared to deal with such situations

2. Even if ambulance takes time atleast it would have necessary first aid required... once you had to contact for ambulance to understand how long it would have taken that day to reach clinic rather than talking in assumption of 15mins time line
3. You say everyone were ready at Vikram hospital then why was Appu sir carried so badly by ppl rather than stretcher, this shows how much things were kept ready for appu sir arrival

We understand even doctor didn’t expect this but still don’t you think it’s doctor’s responsibility to ensure he saves a life with whatever possible options.. Just bcoz he didn’t expect this we have lost a precious life, a life which has given life to thousands of ppl... Just by saying move on, things wouldn’t change, pain ppl r going through or appu sir family is going through would not reduce.. Appu sir trusted the doctor and visited the clinic thinking he would be fine but end up ending his life.. Why didn’t the doctor asked appu sir to visit hospital directly when he knew that appu sir is visiting for chest pain issue, being family doctor he knew the family history... All that we can sense here is careless ness attitude showed... Personally I never ever commented on any videos or social media sites before but this time I couldn’t digest the fact that appu air is not with us anymore... Just for your info I am not a die hard fan of appu sir but now I respect and admire him the most in my life....

Nobody is blaming doctor. We as a fan just want clarification as to what happened exactly..it's doctors duty to answer it calmy. So that other person would understand the cause
Doctor statement appears ok but such eminent doctor should be in tertiary hospital where all type of facilities are available. In cordiac patient cases when tertiary care is not there, it would be waste of time to visit small clinic like this doctor. When facilities are not there in his clinic, the doctor is advised to close down his shop and join tertiary care hospital that would save precious lives like Punith ji and others. When facility is not there in his clinic, the doctor should not take chances to treat heart patients. It would save precious time to heart patient, so that his life can be saved.
