- I decided to install 52T MT15 rear sprocket on my 48T R15 V3 to make it faster.
I was unable to access the top end of my R15 V3 and hence I decided to make this mod to boost my bike's acceleration and top-end performance. I'm almost 90kgs heavy and I believe that is one of the main reasons my bike can't go as fast as I want it to, so I bought the original MT15 chain sprocket set and put it on my R15. I later took it on the highway and tried to test its performance. Although the pickup had noticeably increased, I was quite disappointed to see the top speed on each gear decrease. I wasn't able to test out its max speed, but I was quite pleased with its performance.
This sproket helps for initial pick up and reduce top speed . Its my assumption .💛❤️💙

If u want higher speed u have go with the smaller sprocket, bigger sprocket means higher torque smaller pocket gives high speed, simple physics bro 🤘🏻

What's your long term experience with this chain sprocket?
Those who don't know the bigger the size of the sprocket more torque you will get - smaller the size of the sprocket more top end you will get
Put 15 teeth front sprocket instead of 14 teeth
Its as expected it will increase acceleration but reduce the top speed

I bought MT15's entire set.. and that had 1 more chain link sonit fitted perfectly

If you install the sprocket you need 1 extra link in your R15's chain.. so I bought MT15's chain as well

Does this sprocket increase mileage compare to r15 sprocket
No, it decreases mileage.. go the other way around.. install smaller rear sprocket or bigger front sprocket for more mileage and higher top speed.. mileage decreased by 3kmpl for me
